Thought I would try this because some of the name brands are extremely expensive. This works the same as the same ingredients. Taste just as bad as the other stuff too no better no worse.All that matter is it worked.

Gnarly flavor and I’m not entirely sure it’s effective.
It is very sweet and slimy, almost gelatinous. I thought it was pretty gross, but a kid might like it.I am not completely confident that it was effective at stopping my cough. At the very least it sure wasn’t effective for a full 12 hours.

As Good as the Name Brand
I have been a fan of Delsym for several years now. This cough syrup is just as effective as the Name brand. It is a 12 hour cough suppressant which is convenient and it doesn’t have a medicine taste. Like Delsym it tastes sweet. It’s consistency is also comparable to the name brand. This syrup helps when a cough is making you feel lousy. It’s got name brand effectiveness and taste with a generic price tag.

Cheaper, so far not seeing results
Taste was very… different I’ll put it that way. Definitely not an orange flavor. So far I haven’t had a major cough issue but for even a mild cough it just didn’t seem to do anything for me. I’ll change my review if anything changes but I don’t think I’d rush out to buy this again. The price is very fair but I just am not so sure it works.

Orange Flavor? I think not.
When the Chinese company who made this was told to make it “orange” maybe they had a translation problem. The taste of this product is more of just a sickeningly sweet taste, and I can find no hint of orange. I’ve got to be fair, though, it does what it is supposed to do.

Just as good as Delsym and a lot more affordable
When my husband and I got Covid last summer we had a lingering cough for weeks. We went through a bottle of Delsym super quickly and I was not thrilled to spend another $15 for 5oz of cough syrup. So happy I found this Amazon brand. I haven’t experienced any differences between the two as far as effectiveness. We originally had the orange flavor which I really like. Now we both are sick again but the orange flavor was out of stock so I ordered the grape. I think the grape is kind of gross tasting (I don’t really like grape flavored anything), but my husband likes it better. The orange flavor seems to be out of stock or on backorder so stuck with using the grape for now.

This works better at controlling my child’s nighttime cough than Delsym does. Not saying Delsym is a bad product, because it isn’t. This just works better for us. I noticed she is more willing to take this. It must taste better to her. The price is lower also. Win-Win-Win

Just as good as topcare and yes, it is gluten free.
Needed gluten free cough syrup. They don’t advertise, unless you look at pictures submitted in customer reviews, but gluten free is right on the bottle. I don’t like cherry flavored cough syrup because it has a yucky aftertaste. This stuff reminds me of orange cream frozen bars I used to get as a kid. So I call that a win.

It’s your basic cough syrup for a good price
This uses the basic drugs that are in most cough medicines on the market. The best part is that it’s not as expensive. It only addresses a cough so it won’t help with many other types of symptoms, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Inexpensive compared to other brands.
This brand compared to delsym, as it contains a 12 hour ingredient. This brand cheaper. Contains dextromethorphan polisterix. This is different than regular dextromethorphan which lasts about 4 hours ( plain Robitussin) and other brands. The polisterix in it makes this 12 hour ingredient last do much longer. Consult your physician or pharmacist for guidance but Amazon is much less expensive.

Grape……ummmmm yeah….
As an 80s kid I had my fair share of flavored cough medicine, most of it tasted like a mix of floor wax, the tears of my enemies, hair gel, and the art glue paste, from elementary school. This medicine tastes pretty good and the best part is that it really really works. Grape!!!!Highly recommended!!!

My son had a bad reaction to this medicine (sorry this is graphic) explosive diarrhea that had a horrific smell. This side effect was noted on the bottle but not when we bought the product. Could not return.
