Safe and cheap alternative
My daughter uses children’s flonase for her allergies. We have had issues with the bottle not working properly and were looking for an alternative but effective product when we were offered this.This arrived nicely boxed and has a very similar design to the flonase. The spray works well and delivers the medicine easily. She is able to do it herself (age 11). It is also at a much better price than what we spend here locally.

This is an economical way to buy this spray. It is as effective as the name-brand version. My children have had no issues with this spray. It is easy to use and of great quality. My kid’s allergies are controlled with this product just as well as other brands we have tried.

Just as good as brand name
Our pediatrician recommends us using this to treat our kids’ symptoms when they have colds, so we always have this on hand. When my two year old recently caught a cold from a kid at the sitter, we used this and it seemed to work just as good as brand name. We’ve also purchased generic brands of Flonase at our local drugstore, which costs a few more bucks than this one and is the same size – so this is a great value! I, like everyone else, am perplexed as to why the box is so big? Other than that, great product!

Gentle on nose
This works as well as the name-brand version as far as controlling post-nasal drip and sinus issues. However, it’s more gentle on the nasal passages. It reduces drying and helps control allergies in kids (or adults who need gentler treatment) . I would definitely order this in place of the name brand because it’s a lot less expensive and just as effective. Definitely recommend.

This says “children’s,” but it is the same dose and same size as the adult version, so I gave it to my husband to try. He uses it all the time and doesn’t really see a difference from what he usually uses, except this bottle has fewer doses than the one from Sam’s Club.

Great but why such a big box
I was confused and annoyed at why on small nose spray came in such a big box, I hate waste.Otherwise Flonase has done wonders for my son when he gets chronic post nasal drip after an illness. He doesn’t love nose sprays, but can tolerate one spray of this when he needs it and we haven’t noticed any side effects. It is what our doctor recommends (in short bursts of time). It typically clears it up within a week.

Same as adults.
To my knowledge this has the same exact dosage as an adult version has. Except this children’s version does not have as many metered sprays. So I suppose I’m a bit confused what the difference is. Aside from that this generic works great. I don’t see any difference between how the name brand and the generic work. And even smells the same when inhaled. Overall it’s a great generic but I just don’t understand the children’s aspect of it.

Good Product But Questionable Savings
This Amazon Basics generic version performs the same as Children’s Flonase, so from a quality perspective compared to the name brand, it is definitely a good option. However, the price savings don’t appear to be particularly significant. It is tough to compare because this option and the Flonase size options seem to have different # of metered sprays, but if you look at the price per metered spray to try to compare, this product is possibly slightly less expensive, but not tremendously so. I typically look at generic options as an opportunity to save money. If the price of this item goes down a bit and the savings become more apparent, this could be a great option.

Does not mist reliability
Stay away from this. Does not reliably turn to mist, often injects liquid straight into nose even when rapidly pressing the top to deliver a dose. By the brand name instead and the misting works 100% of the time without fail.

As far as I can tell, same dosage per spray as adult spray
I try to take the least amount of medications/dosage as possible as I can and is tolerable. Also as an adult, I try to take children’s medications when it is effective enough for me. B/c I’m sensitive to medications. So I wanted to try and compare this Amazon children’s fluticasone propionate nasal spray to the adult one I have. As far as I can tell:The same in both: dosage (fluticasone propionate 50 mcg/spray), size of bottle, size of nasal spray spout, both come in brown glass containers.Difference: children’s spray has 72 sprays and 0.38 fl oz of medication. The adult’s spray has 144 sprays and 0.62 Fl Oz.With no difference in nasal spray size or dose per spray, I will stick with the adult spray with more total sprays as they seem to work the same and have the same active ingredient.

Completely Stopped Post Nasal Drip
I have tried so many different products to help with my 11 YO with her chronic rhinitis. This is by far the best quality product I have found and it actually works! Works just like the name brand
I was a little caught off guard by the GIANT box this came in, which is pretty wasteful however the actual product is great. Just in time for spring and all of the blooming things that aggravate me. I prefer using this over oral antihistamines. This dose is fine for adults to use also (though it’s marketed as children’s allergy medicine), it’s the exact same Fluticasone propionate (glucocorticoid) 50 mcg that you get in adult size bottles.

Generics are the way to go with most over the county medications in my opinion. This example of a nasal spray seems every bit equivalent to the much more costly name brand version. It isn’t always easier or fun using nasal sprays, but as long as used as directed and for people that have the need this works just fine.

Exact same dosage as my adult Flonase, works well.
This is an allergy nasal spray that is identical in formula to Flonase. It works very well for my year around allergy symptoms. The mcg/spray is also the same as the adult version. The container looks slightly different but works exactly the same way. I found the efficacy the same as Flonase. Works well for a lower price.

Good Generic Allergy Medicine
The Fluticasone came in this larger box and which I thought could be a bit smaller. However, the product itself is a great generic and works just as the same as the name brand. My little one has allergies and this product has definitely helped with that. She doesn’t like things going up her nose but she knows that this will make her feel better. The bottle is small and all you do is pump one spray into each nostril, I tested it on myself and it smells like flowers so the scent to me is pleasant and she enjoys the smell as well. It is temporary. Overall, for $10.73 (at the time) the price is decent and the size is child sized, it works and I cannot complain. I think it is a good value for allergy relief.

Effective
This allergy medication is pretty great. Not only does it work quickly, it also stays effective for almost 24 hours. I like the price and that it’s convenient to have delivered right to my house during allergy season, it’s also great for my daughter so she doesn’t need to suffer from allergies. Great for allergies
Allergy season is approaching so it’s a good idea to think ahead and stick up on all your allergy medications. This nasal spray is easy to use and doesn’t burn the inside of the nose too much so that’s good for children. In my experience these nasal allergy sprays take around a week to be fully effective but you should start feeling some relief before that. I’d recommend it for the price

My kids have terrible allergies, so we have been using Flonase for years. I am happy to find a cost-effective Amazon equivalent. It is convenient to add to grocery orders. It works just as well as Flonase. But, I do agree with other reviewers that the size of the box is ridiculous.

Same dosage and similar bottle to the generic Flonase we get from the store for the kids. Works about the same as well which is only moderate for my kids who have terrible seasonal allergies. I feel like the “spray” is less strong and the scent is not quite as potent as what they normally use so my kids prefer this over their usual. Comes in a box that could hold three bottles but only comes with one.

works great for airborne allergies and lasts all day
this seems to work well for seasonal allergies. my daughter has a bit of a pollen allergy so i spray this before we head out and it really dials down any symptoms. it can be difficult to get younger kids to willingly take it the first few times as its a nasal spray. the ingredients are the same as Flonase so it works just as well, and being an amazon brand i know the price and quality are good. great buy if you have allergies.

This seems to be the exact same thing that you get in an adult version just less in the bottle and includes instructions to only give one spray for the younger age group.I’ve been using this stuff for 30 something years and it’s great. I do think this is a little more expensive, for less in the bottle.One other thing I dislike. One little bottle comes in a huge box that could hold 4 or more of these bottles. Generic, more expensive half dose of Flonase
Amazon Basic Care Children’s Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray is basically just Flonase at half dose for pediatrics, which is appropriate. However, what is appropriate for your kid with a medication that was only moved from prescription to OTC in 2014 is a discussion for you and your kids’ pediatrician; this is relative benign but it’s still something that you should ask about before using, although it’s a lot better than the poor souls who take Afrin for three days and then discover there’s a brutal rebound effect.That said, this is priced for some reason at 20% more than pediatric Flonase itself for the same dose and quantity; why you’d pick this instead is a good question. It definitely isn’t a deal for adults who have to use 2 squirts instead of one to get the right dosage. Overall, 3 stars as a result.
