    It Will Make You Poop

This is a laxative powder and will make you poop. You will poop either the same day or the next. It works very well, is relatively easy to drink (must mix with a liquid, I use water) and is sure to produce the results you desire. I’ve used the same type product (Miralax) and had to measure it out. This you don’t have too since it’s in a single serving packet. Of course, you don’t have to take the entire packet and maybe half will be enough.

    Works great, super convenient

This stuff works great for pregnancy and/or medication related constipation. I was using it daily when on Zofran to keep me regular and now that I’m in the third trimester, my body needs some extra help so I take this once every week or two and it never lets me down.It takes about a day or two to work initially, so don’t expect an immediate result. My favorite way to take it is mixed in with a smoothie or protein shake as it has no taste, it hides the texture, and it allows me to make sure I’m getting enough fluids to help things along. It also is fine in a plain glass of water, i was able to drink it that way even during the most nauseating parts of my pregnancy.I love that this comes in little packets because not only is dosing super convenient, quick, accurate and easy, but it allows me to have some in my purse in case I’m out and about and need to take it on the go.

Convenient for travel and works as intended.

My daughter needs to take polyethylene glycol for a medical condition. We used these and they work just as well as everything else she’s been using, which is to say they’re effective as expected. The only thing I would add to this review is these are good for *travel*. A single dose in a convenient package. From a cost perspective you wouldn’t want to be constantly purchasing these for regular use–buying in bulk is cheaper.

You Never Know When You Will NEED This

My 5YO was having urinary issues, which was due to constipation. After two brutal cleanses prescribed by Drs we were told to start her on a diet with more fiber and prebiotics and 1/2 cap of Miralax (Polyethylene Glycol 3350). Not wanting her to go through that again, we have been very diligent on the Polyethylene Glycol in the mornings. But, once in a while, we leave for school without taking the dose. So, having these handy packets (and a mini bottle of water) are a lifesaver. We keep these in our car and use them when we are out and about, late for school, or visiting family away from home. I like that she takes this powder in her morning smoothie without any trouble. She actually look forward to it, and doesn’t balk because it’s a dreaded “medicine”. I noticed since she started these packs for a few weeks that she has been complaining much less of stomach pain and having more regular movements.I like the simplicity of product use. It does what it claims without hassle. I hope you found this review helpful!

Better suited for those with consistent constipation

If you need immediate relief, this is not the product for you. After drinking a glass of Basic Care ClearLax, I waited about 36 hours before having a bowel movement. It provided some relief to my constipation but it didn’t clean me out completely. I like that it’s odorless and flavorless since most laxatives taste awful. I didn’t experience any abdominal pain, cramping or watery stool from using it. This product is ideal for those who have consistent digestive issues because it’s gentle on the tummy; however, if you only need occasional relief, I wouldn’t recommend it.

    NOT a laxitive

I mean, there is no surprise rush to the facilities. It bulks you up and softens things to send them on their way.Of course, something tells me getting my fiber from honest-to-goodness food full of real nutrition instead of PLASTIC should be the way to go, but this is the 21st century and I have to move with the times, pun intended. It IS a plastic. You are mixing it up with water sending plastic through your system! Sounds bad! … but it isn’t. Your body doesn’t digest it, gives it the water it needs to bulk it up to fiber status, and kind of carries all the other stuff in your gut along with it– bon voyage waste. If you need action NOW, this is not for you. Also, if you are repelled by the slimy “nothingness” of the texture, mix it with veggies or fruit for a smoothie. You are not supposed to use it for more than 7 days, and thankfully, this is just an occasional remedy around here, but I think you could use it far longer. Those medical warnings err on the side of hyper-caution.

No more measuring as it’s done for you and it’s very portable.

I’ve got a daughter with Encopresis and we’ve lived on Mira-lax everyday for the last year. I usually buy the large bottles and we go through about one a month, per her specialists orders. This takes the measuring out of the picture and makes it much more portable. When she’s at the grandparents or has a babysitter, I don’t have to worry about showing them how much to use for her, it’s premeasured. It absolutely makes things easier. It does come in a huge box so if you don’t have room for storage, the bottles are space saving. This seems to keep her regular and on track. She hasn’t said that she notices any difference in the taste, or lack thereof, and it mixes just like the stuff we’ve been using. It dissolves much better into eight ounces but for her sometime I do it in four ounces of a strong juice just to get it in her more quickly. Overall, I just really like the fact that there is no guess work to be done!

    Good for traveling

My daughter uses this under the supervision of her GI doc due to poor development of her GI musculature. This is not as effective for her as the brand name, but it isn’t ineffective, either. We’ve oddly noticed a difference with other store brands as well. We typically are hugely supportive of generic products, but this one is our good for travel brand as it is cheaper than the brand. Day to day we’ll stick with the brand name.

    24 hours, easy to digest.

With stay at home /covid 19..eating a lot of bread! I have a herbal tea, but decided to try this travel pack, which is always useful to have when on the the road. I put this in my grape fruit juice. Added sweetness. Easy to digest. It took 24 hours to take effect. Very gentle. But not totally effective as you may need to take this at least twice. And you need to not be traveling or easy access to bathroom. I prefer my tea as it takes 12hours and I take it before I go to bed. But as a travel sachet, and an emergency when you are on the road/travels. Works well.

    Took Exactly 3 days

At first I didn’t think it worked and then I read where it says it takes 1-3 days (so if you need quick results, you might not get it). This solution has zero taste which is great. I mixed it with a glass of iced tea when I drank them. I did not experience any cramping that I normally do with other laxatives which can at times be quite painful. If you’re looking for something that’s slow acting and gentle, this will work great for you. I will keep this on hand in the future and will probably keep buying as I have terrible side effects with other OTC laxatives.I would recommend.

    Good Stuff!

I love that this comes in individual pre-measured packets. I don’t have to consider, just dump and mix the contents in your drink of choice. Tastes like nothing. I have been having gastric issues and have seen several specialists who all shrug their shoulders. No one can find any reason why I’m uncomfortably bloated, acidy and full of… Aging maybe? I was looking for a non-ridiculous solution that would keep me moving comfortably without any negative side effects. I remembered that I was given this daily in the hospital without any concerns by those in charge, so I decided to try it in real life. This may or may not be the solution, but I can find no fault with the product itself. It’s well packaged and performs just as one familiar with this product would expect. Only wish they still sold the small size in this. I was able to try it first.

    Not as embarrassing in public!

I purchased this for a vacation because I had no idea when I would be able to drink my daily dose. And you know how traveling is. Everything binds up which can lead to misery. But I digress. Having the pre measured packets was great. Just kept one in my purse, and during lunch discreetly stirred it into a glass of water. Did this twice on a plane. Just be careful when opening the packet because once on the plane it kind of exploded a bit and I had to scrape it off the airplane tray. But not as embarrassing! It’s not like I pulled a BOTTLE of the stuff out of my purse. And the packets are good to go for TSA! And this brand was just as good as the name brand! Highly recommend!

    Delivery was very fast,

The cost of the product isabout 1/2 that of the name brand product of the same ingredients. Since the product is in a packet it is very easy to use, either at home or on the road. They performance is about the same as the Name Brand of the same ingredients. These are easy to mix and clarify, if mixed with warm water, stirred and allowed to clear. A cold water mixture does not mix and clarify as well and experience shows that it does not completely disolve leaving a residue on the glass. Which is the same result with the High Price Brand. We’re happy with the product and it performs the same as the Name brand.

    Individual packets of powdered laxative

Amazon basic car clearly. Per my family members this works good. The flavor is not really noticeable in juice or other flavored beverage. I was told if you add it to juice it goes down with no flavor issues. The product works as well as the big box store brand. This is a big box so you will have some for awhile. I received a box of 100 individual packets. They are easy to take out of the box and disperse into water or juice. The packets are easy to open and are quit handy much better than a bottle of powder you have to then measure out. Good quality powdered laxative.

    Exactly the same as competition

This is the exact same product as the competition – be it the name brand or off-label/store brand. Looks the same, functions the same… so for the most part, it comes down to price. Except with these – they’re probably going to be a bit more expensive because they are more convenient – no measuring, and you can take these on the go if you want. I’m not entirely sure how much I’d take these on the go (ie, if I’m on a road trip, do I want to be taking this and need to make some potentially urgent unplanned stops?) That said, if you need this on the go, these are very useful. All in all, works as you’d expect, but the individually wrapped give it a little bonus of convenience.

    A laxative in powder form.

Clearlax is a less expensive version of a very popular laxative. I like to know a little bit about medicines before I use them so I looked it up. It’s generally considered safe for adults unless you are allergic to it. There are some warnings on the box and it is important to read them. Consult your doctor if you have kidney disease or are pregnant. The label does not go into interactions with other medications. If you are taking medications, I suggest looking up the Mayo Clinic page on “Polyethylene glycol 3350 and electrolytes.” Also, I would personally avoid taking this at the same time as other supplements or any medications because a laxative might speed up the passage of substances through your body.I like this this is unflavored and that it contains nothing other than the chemical polyethylene glycol.

Dissolves well in room temperature water. Gives a satisfactory outcome.

This Clearlax product consists of 10 packets. Each packet has a net weight of 0.5 ounces of white powder.I found it difficult to tear open the foil pouch packet at the dotted lines; so, I used scissors to cut it open.Typically, with my usual brand, I pour the powder into orange juice, as I prefer this method of taking the product. For this review, I poured the contents into a cup of room temperature water, and stirred vigorously. The powder mixes well, as there are no noticeable powder remaining in the cup once I was done stirring. There is no taste as I drank the product. I do not taste any remnants of the powder. I took a packet one day; the next day, the result made me happy. It worked to help with my health issue for which this product is intended, and I get the same satisfactory result as I got with a more well-known brand.According to the product label: Active ingredient: polyethylene glycol 3350 – 17g Inactive ingredients: noneExpiration is located on the back of each packet. Mine expires 11/2021Lastly, each packet measures 6-inches in length x 2-1/2 inches in width. I like that I do not need to measure out a specific amount, making this a convenient packet to take with me the next time I am away from home for several days at a time.Overall, this Clearlax powder (by Basic Care) does a good job in addressing my irregularity issues.

Indivdiual Packets of Polyethylene Glycol – Box of 10 – For Occasional or Chronic Constipation

Basic Care brand Clearlax has the same ingredients as the brand name Miralax. Polyethylene Glycol 3350. This type of product has 10 one ounce daily doses, in single serve packets. This product is flavorless and can be added to any liquid. The standard dose is mixed with 4-8 ounces of juice or water. This is used for daily or occasional maintenance of constipation. It’s not a laxative. It helps your body eliminate waste by adding fiber, increasing bulk, and that makes stools easier to pass. It also softens the stool. The box says not to be used for more than 7 days, but as a healthcare provider, I can tell you this is ordered daily forever, for people having issues with chronic constipation. The handy packets are easy to throw in your locker, backpack, or purse to be mixed with a beverage at work or on the go.Recommended for occasional or chronic constipation.

Packets are handy for travel and for controlling dosages.

I buy this based solely off of price since it is quite literally just a chemical that is exactly the same across brands. It works by retaining water in the stool so it remains soft (osmotic laxative). It can take a couple days to really work, so requires a bit of patience, but it is less harsh on your system than stimulant laxatives. This is exactly the same stuff as Miralax or whatever brand of Polyethylene Glycol 3350 you buy. The 3350 refers to the average molecular weight. Usual dose is 17 grams a day (which is one of these packets)Dissolves well enough in hot water that you will not notice it (tea, coffee). Will dissolve in any liquid at 55C (131F) readily. It is drinkable in cold liquids but will not dissolve as well.,These individual packets are useful for travel, but a little more expensive. However, after having TSA get bent out of shape when I had put some of this in a bottle for travel (apparently a vial of white powder is problematic) I am happy to pay a little extra for convenience.

    Seams Gentle Enough

I got these to keep on hand for my 16 yr old daughter (ask a doctor because this is not recommended for people under 17 yrs old, unless you consult w/your doctor). My daughter has never had regular BM’s and her doctor is aware of this and has recommended a mild stool softener in the past.My daughter will go days w/o a BM. I don’t know how this is possible, but she’s always been like this. Sometimes if this goes on for too many days (usually more than 2) she starts eating prunes, dried apricots, etc. I figured getting these would help to gently get her bowels going, but not cause a massive surge of diarrhea. The box contains individual packets of the powdered stool softener. I had my daughter try a partial pack first to make sure it wasn’t too much. It seemed fine and she’ll probably use the full packet next time. The powder can be dissolved in any 4 – 8 oz of liquid, hot/cold. I recommend something w/flavor like juice because it makes water taste like tap water. Warm liquid helps it mix better. These packets are suppose to be taken daily, but no more than 7 days in a row. My daughter doesn’t need it that much, just a bit to get things going. It all depends on the person and what there BM’s are like.

    Awesome Bowel Cleansing Experience

First off, WOW! I’ve been clogged up for years due to an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise. One dose of this and I was literally spraying excrement like a Russian race horse, everywhere. At the grocery store, in the doctors office, at the DMV, in church or stuck in traffic. The immediate urge to purge your bowels of years of Taco Bell, deviled eggs, uncle Rick’s world famous chili and gummy bears is an experience everyone must try for themselves. It helps to carry around several pairs of underwear, flushable wipes and cologne to cover up the putrid smell from deep in your guts. Again, this is an amazing product. I’ve literally lost 25lbs inside of a week.

Very good price for each one, but a lot of $ to drop at once.

It works out to be a very reasonable price for these when you consider the unit price, but where it’s such a large quantity it’s a lot of money to spend at once. I get these to keep at work in my locker for when I forget to take it at home, so I use it regularly. There’s no flavor, so to me that’s a good thing.

The product worked great but the packaging is terrible. The notch where you’re supposed to be able to open from does not tear without getting scissors. This poses a problem when traveling. Any product that my mother reuse is a good product especially if she say it works. I think the measure out clearlax packages is easy to use, she can just open the package. Place it in the liquid or foods and go ahead about her day. No time spent scooping products out of a bottle. This package is easy to store and easy to carry around. The package at least last her a good month.

    Convenient for Travel

These packets are what you need for traveling. It is much easier to manage than a large bottle of the product.

As good as the name brand

Exactly like Miralax. My only issue is that the packet is very difficult to open by hand so I have to use a scissor.

    Great for travel

I buy these packets especially for travel. Works as well as name brand MiraLax, but saves me money.

    It works.

It’s a laxative/ stool softener. It did what it was supposed to do.

    Portable Packets

I really enjoy that these are portioned out in individual packets- no more having to travel with the regular bottle. Good value for cost. Will buy again

You know what you’re getting into

Listen, you’re clogged up. It happens. Want to be unclogged? Buy this. I also recommend buying toilet paper along with this purchase.

    Does what it’s supposed to

I actually bought this for my mother, but my wife has “enjoyed” a couple. She says it works just the same as Metamucil, but it’s more than half the cost.

    Product works but packaging doesn’t

I bought the 100 pack – half for my husband at work who is recovering from major surgery & half for home, travel and car. Convenient right? Except they require scissors because the tear tabs don’t rip. Now I have to have something to cut with if I take one with me.

    Perfect for traveling

Honestly, the most perfect thing for traveling. Measuring out powder from a bigger container looks weird to TSA in a ziploc bag. These are convenient and portable, I stick one in my bag and can drink it whenever. It’s a great price too. Thank you!

    Hard to open without scissors

The whole point of these for me was to take them while traveling, meaning on an airplane. Since I usually travel carry-on, I can’t take a scissors. The best solution I’ve found for this is to use nail clippers which works and is TSA safe. But it seems to work as well as the brand name
