Works
I had never tried anything like this before. I had seen Nicorette but it was expensive and I didn’t think it would work anyway. When I saw that this was more affordable I decided to try it.I am still smoking but have managed to replace some of my usual cigarettes with the gum and it has satisfied the craving. I really didn’t have high hopes and had a negative attitude about it before trying it ngl.The gum alternates between tasting normal and tasting spicy. At first I thought there was no way it would work out for me but I read someone else’s review that said when it gets spicy it is like, releasing the dose of nicotine or something like that and when it gets gross to just sort of stick it under your tongue or along your gums until it gets better. Since I started doing that it has been manageable.I have not had any issues with the gum being hard or stale like some other reviewers, idk maybe they got an old box. Overall, I recommend. I have been smoking for a long long time and the gum really makes me feel like I have a chance at quitting. Wish me luck and good luck to all of you, too.

Better than Nicorette
At first, the flavor seemed off but, after a few chews, the flavor developed nicely and the gum became a nice, soft chew which didn’t toughen up like Nicorette does. Overall, I prefer this to the other brand. If Nicorette hadn’t become unavailable, I never would have taken a chance on Amazon’s version but now that I have, I will continue to reorder this and be very happy with the money I save in doing so.

Sort of nasty, but it’ll get you through.
Off and on I’ve purchased this Amazon brand nicotine gum when I couldn’t supply myself with my usual brand.It does have nicotine in it, so if you’re involved in quitting tobacco as I am, that’s valuable enough.But this definitely isn’t the greatest gum going.It’s rather hard on the body, I notice– apparently the sweetening is quite nasty, because it gives me headaches. And its formulation isn’t as good as some others. It’s actually too sticky. I mean, that sounds strange, I know, but this gum is so sticky that you might end up having to put something in the freezer to harden the gum and remove it from something, if you’re not careful and get it on some fabric or something. It really, really sticks to everything.It’s competitively priced and I appreciate getting it very quickly through Amazon, but I usually sort of regret it if I buy some.I suppose it’s good enough if it means you don’t end up smoking.

Good product to keep you away from tobacco
I have been using this gum for about a year now. I used to dip snuff and used this gum to help me quit. I chew a few pieces a day when I get a craving and the gum satisfies. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is very sticky gum that gets stuck between my teeth sometimes. Other than that, it works and has a good flavor and is cheaper than the name brand.

I think the gum is a bit too soft so it’s not my favorite. I guess I prefer a gum that a bit more firm. Flavor is ok. I think I like the Sam’s version a whole lot better, but this does the main trick which is to stave off an urge to reach for the vape which I finally gave up a few months ago.

I would not recommend over other options, feels like there minimal nicotine
I do like my nicotine when I’m drinking or stressed. I’ve been into Lucy brand but it’s expensive and now I know why. The Amazon brand is budget friendly but you’re gonna be pounding threw them and opening them is a horrible pain.Lucy brand (mint) is so much better and opens without a stupid safety seal. I won’t be buying the Amazon ones again they just are not good for me.

I really like the Basic Care Nicotine gum. I use the 2 mg ice mint flavor coated gum, 160 count. I was using the “cool mint” flavor but the ice mint went on sale for 40% off so I switched. Either way it’s great gum. I could not have stopped smoking without it. I like it better than the Nicorette and it’s about five bucks cheaper per box.

Not the same as the other brands
I found myself struggling with this nicotine gum. It’s a bit too soft to chew on. Wish the consistency was different. Also for the 2MG I feel like the nicotine is a bit weak.Good For the price but NOT good if you have tried other brands and trying to find a cheaper substitute. This is probably a good one if you trying nicotine gum for first time.

Requires a knife or other tool to open
The &%*&% things are impossible to open without a tool of some sort. There’s no way in the world to get a hold of that little plastic flap and get it out of the way to push the gum through the foil… The gum itself is fine, though.

Husband’s addicted
My husband has used this to get off dip. He dipped in the army and when he got out after being injured he dipped at his new job. He dipped for 13 years. Now he’s addicted to these. For 12 years. I haven’t been able to get him to stop chewing these. He chews 2 at a time until the flavor is gone and then pops in 2 more. I have no idea what to do.

This has the very same strength ingredients as Nicorette. The drug facts on the back of the box are exactly the same words and pronunciation as Nicorette’s with three small lines added at the bottom. Both products have the same effect. Nicorette only tastes better. Each piece of gum costs $.17 opposed to $.31 cents for Nicorette.

I know this product supposed to help you to quit smoking,but this is nowhere to be effective,you better off buying a regular gum and chewed it.Nicorete product is expensive and not effective if you really want to quit that’s have to be from yourself not because of this product.I tried Nicorete patch before only to make my skin itchy when I put it on and this gum only made my throat itchy.My recommendation is if you ready to quit smoking you don’t need all this product all you need yourself and a gum

Lasting mint flavor!

This gum is okay and Amazon always delivers it to me late which is not good when you’re trying to quit smoking The gum likes to stick to anything it touches your teeth your lips quite annoying. It’s cheap gum and I noticed since I started buying it the price is going up but the quality sure isn’t Amazon what the hell are you doing ? I pay almost $50 anyone else watch the price I swear after you buy it twice they start making it more expensive be warned. And why does the gum stick to everything absolutely everything. Gum should not stick to the inside of your mouth. I’ve had cheap gum from Mexico that acts better than this stuff.

Inferior to Habitrol
I much prefer the taste, texture, price and packaging of Habitrol 2 mg mint gum to the Amazon branded product. With Habitrol packaging, the gum pops right out with gentle pressure from one finger, Amazon’s packaging requires both hands and sometimes teeth to get a piece of gum out. Amazon’s gum sticks to my teeth as well. And it’s about 10% more per piece than Habitrol as well. Seems like they are phasing out the sale of the Habitrol gum, so I’ll be looking for another supplier.
