Product is not as strong as cvs store brand.
I found that I had to take another cap to work. This product is not similar to NyQuil. You have to double the dosage for it to work. I was not satisfied with this product. I had to drive myself to CVS pharmacy to pick up store brand NyQuil.

It’s medicine 💊
It works just as well as the name brand.Biggest differences are:- Very bright colored liquids: beware staining- Disgusting flavour: but when you’re sick who cares (excepting picky or already very nauseated people)- Thinner liquid so doesn’t do that placebo “coating the throat” sensation to ease pain.Stay hydrated, wash your hands, and I hope you get better soon.

Excellent Value for Cold Relief Medication
Because in the U.S., generic products must use the same active ingredients as their brand-name counterparts, the pharmaceutical effect of these medications is comparable to the brand-name DayQuil/NyQuil Severe brands, but at a lower cost. Their taste is fine. While no gourmet, they do their job. But they excel in value compared to the more expensive brand-name brands.

Cheaper than the brand name and great quality too
For the twin pack, I expected smaller bottles at this price but it was much bigger in size than I expected. Normally I would walk into a pharmacy store and buy the twin pack but it cost so much. This does everything Dayquill and Nyquill does at a perfect price that you can’t say no to. I did get my flu shot, but there are some days where I may have a little bit of a cold, so this helps in this matter.

Works just as well as its brand name competitor
I caught a cold (not covid) at an airport and was dealing with nasal congestion and a slight cough. Used this to help deal with the congestion and get me to sleep at night. I would take a full dose at night maybe 90 minutes before I wanted to sleep, and would wake up the next day not super drowsy, but definitely a little foggy headed similar to nyquil. Near the end I cut my doses down to the 1/2 dose counter which helped keep my symptoms at bay and also reduce the foggy-ness side effect.I would say this works well in a pinch, however Mucinex, if you’re able to find it, helped the most in controlling my nasal congestion and cough.

Just as good as normal Dayquil / Nyquil.
It works as well as Vicks’ Dayquil and Nyquil (and all the other store brands, trust me, I’ve gotten the Walgreens, CVS, Stop N’ Shop, Dollar Tree, etc versions of these things) but much cheaper. Cures headaches and prevents fevers from getting too high for dayquil, and nyquil helps get you to sleep and makes you feel better in the morning albeit a little drowzy because of the drug / alcohol. There’s really no other reason to buy other store brands when you get the severe versions of these at this price point and delivered in a day.

buy ahead of time so you have it if you need it
Making up some cold care kits. Always good to have a daytime formula and a nighttime formula on hand for when the need arises. I dont like having to suddenly go to the store if I am feeling ill. I also dont want to assume that a store will actually have what I need! I am not driving to 5 stores to buy a cold medicine, or pack of cough drops. So I’m being proactive. I am being prepared. I recommend you do same: buy what you can while you can. I just buy what I may need ahead of time and then I dont have to fret later. I even take a couple of storage boxes (the shoe box kind) and put in the cold medicine (liquid, powder, softgels, whatever), a pack of cough drops, some plain ibuprofen, some lip balm, some tissue, even a toothbrush (should swap out toothbrush when/after sick), etc. Just grab it when needed.I like the Amazon brands a lot. I have no problem with this Amazon Basics cold medicine. It is priced alright enough (not that I rate on price as prices fluctuate etc). I have a wide assortment of their products which have been good and that is why I bought this pack.

Nice Product
Just recieved the daytime and nighttime combo. Package was in perfect condition. Time will tell how well thos product works but the ingredients are good. Just took the nighttime version and it does seem to provide a little “warmth” despite being alcohol free. You definitely seem to get more bang for your buck buying this particular brand rather than others in store.

As anyone knows this is a good set to have in your home at all times for whom ever may get sick.2020 it has been a must and it really does help keep symptoms at bay and make you feel better enough to get better.Flavor wise its still the flavor of Orange goop and the age old bery flavor of death.

Meh. Dose is 30ml, not 20ml.
Yes, the price is better on this item than the NyQuil brand. BUT the adult dose for tris medication is 30ml, not the standard 20ml from NyQuil. So the price comparison/value is not as good as it seems.

Purchased this item because we needed it in a hurry. Not as effective as the NyQuil brand. Nighttime variety was disappointing. Up all night, so it basically didn’t work. Would not buy again.
