Flavor Change?
I’ve been buying these for quite a while. I always order the mint flavor, but the last box I received tasted more like peppermint than the spearmint flavor I’m accustomed to and prefer. The foil safety lid was different, too. It folded slightly down over the edge of the rim instead of lying flat. Are they using a different manufacturer than before? They still do the job, they just taste different.

WOW! I’ve found my study drug! (non-smoker, and I can’t do coffee)
I’m too sensitive to stimulants to drink coffee or even eat chocolate and usually I’m not into any drugs at all, but this option is incredible when I’m first sitting down to do research and reading, especially early in the day. It wakes my brain and gets me hungry for info.I only use it 4 times a week tops , and usually way less than that. I have weeks where I’m not studying/researching and I don’t use it at all. I ONLY use it for that specific purpose – I keep the it in my computer/study bag. I don’t have the least bit addictive personality… Nothing is free, so I don’t go back to any substance regularly. Still, I’ve never felt drained from using this, which is a first – most stimulants leave me drained the next day – I can’t use them. Not nicotine. I’ve never been a smoker in my life but nicotine seems to be a big win for me.On days I use it, I use it early in the day, then sometimes once more later. It gets you up to speed and then you seem to be able to maintain it even after the initial kick has subsided. I’ve never used this stuff enough to crave it. I’ve never been a smoker or found smoking interesting, in fact I’d never actually ‘felt’ anything on the random rare occasion I smoked a cigarette over my lifetime, so I really didn’t understand what it could do. But this delivers!You CAN use this stuff responsibly but for some people they should just stay away.I wish it wasn’t so expensive but it’s really not too bad for what it is.I’ve tried a few brands and this one has a better quality flavor and texture than most, but I can’t verify the potency. The cheap 2mg gum a friend gave me seems just as strong to me. 🤔Btw… My other “study drug” is kava. Relaxing the body while awakening the mind. Helps me focus similarly.If you have addictive tendencies, it might be a better fit. I used both.Mostly I just eat good natural food and live a clean active lifestyle. Drugs can mostly only stimulate what’s already there… Using up resources inside you. Nothing is free.

Bad change in quality
Been getting these for years. My recent order (Oct 2024) had a significant change in lesser quality. Both in the lozenge and packaging. The lozenge is still fine but has a different mint flavor and has more of a crystallized texture. The plastic container quality is waaaay worse. The lid is hard to fit and the foil is awful to remove and makes it difficult to take out a lozenge.

Absurdly slow delivery
I’ve been using these for nicotine replacement for 6ish months now. These lozenges aren’t anything special but compared to alternative options, these are my favorite. They’re really big (which I hate), but the “cherry” taste works to cover the nicotine. They don’t leave a white coating on your mouth – some other cheap options do and it’s an embarrassing. Bottomline is that these are the most tolerable nicotine replacement products.I live in a large metropolitan area in the Southwest, with what I believe are multiple Amazon Warehouses facilities. In the past the ordering process has been simple, where I could often get them delivered same-day somehow. This order was placed on a Friday and the delivery was continuously pushed back until Monday evening. I ended up just getting a dollar-apiece thing of Nicorette at a checkout but for items like medicine, which I contend this is delivery time MATTERS.

Non-Smoker – but I love nicotine
These are the best guilt free version of getting nicotine into your body. I use nicotine to stay alert at work, and these get the job done every time. And I don’t feel guilty about sticking a lozenge into my cheek, versus SNUS or a pouch.

They’ve changed…Not in a good way
I’ve used this brand for a while but the package Ireceived in September was completely different. The texture has changed and they do not dissolve completely. The effects are different, as far as the strength goes. I think I will not order this brand again.

Helps with transitioning to a non smoker
My surgeon won’t preform knee replacement if I have nicotine in my body. My smoking habit was about $150 bucks a month. Doing the math, I went for these lozenges. I got the 4mg. They really pretty strong. Maybe cut them in half, this will help with the budget. Should be enough time to end up quitting all together. I like not smelling like an ashtray anymore.I gave it 4 stars because the taste is not wonderful. But that’s ok, the goal is to get the nicotine out of the body. And get back to healing faster!

Broken lozenges
These are fine and the price is ok. I’ve bought 4 of these so far, the only problem is each container in the box has at least one broken lozenge. I have had three different brands delivered and these are the only ones that end up broken. Packaging allows too much movement which is probably causing the breakage. When I need to buy, if these are the best price point ( subtracting for breakage) I will purchase again but unfortunately will be annoyed at Amazon every time I get another broken lozenge.

Still not smoking after 2 months
I have been a smoker for 50 years. Recently I was picked to sit on a jury for a trial expected to last 3 weeks, so I bought these to help me get through the trial without smoking. They canceled the trial, but I decided to give them a try anyway.I break them in half, and park them between my gum and upper lip. I started using them once every two hours, and now go three to four hours before wanting another one. My husband still smokes, but I’m not even tempted to sneak a smoke.I don’t know if others have had this experience, but if I put them on my tongue and let them dissolve there, I start getting hiccups. They dissolve much slower parked on my gum, and using them this way works for me. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to try to quit cigarettes.

I was hoping for a slightly more cherry flavor. The mint is too strong to keep between my gums and cheek. But the cherry is still better for me.4mg is apparently strong for me. It says don’t break them in pieces, but I find a half is better for me. I got tired of throwing a half used lozenge out when I had enough nicotine to curb the urge.Good luck!

Extreme flatulence
Title says it all, prepare to disrupt your gut biome with the artificial flavoring of these discount gas producing grenades. The artificial sugars don’t help with that either, but the citrus version of these don’t have the same effect on me, nor do other brand’s cherry flavor lozanges. Had these camping recently and had to wash my sleeping bag twice afterwards to remove the scent of my decaying innards. Though I do have my vices, fwiw, I eat a healthy diet, take probiotics, don’t drink alcohol, and typically have well regulated digestive tract. Good luck and I recommend the pharmacy brand that starts with a wal and ends in eens brand cherry lozange.

Work great! Read my quit tips 😉
This really helped me to quit smoking!! After researching I decided to use what’s called combination therapy to quit. On top of using these great lozenges, I also purchased the Habitrol patches. I will say that I still frequent places with people smoking. I’ve tried to quit before. I was successful this time thanks to these lozenges and Habitrol patches. I’ve recommended them to many friends and family!! It will be four months next week of being a non smoker!!Here’s my secret to being successful:I got the 4 mg nicotine lozenges but used a pill cutter and cut them into fourths. (Can’t imagine sucking on a whole one 20-30 minutes) With the patches I got the 21mg the first month and I purchased the 14 mg patch for month 2. You’re supposed to use the 7 mg the third month but I didn’t need it.The patches were perfect but every now and then after eating or when hanging at the pool hall around smokers, I got huge urges. So I’d pop a 1/4 lozenge and that cured my cravings!! I could even pop another since I was taking such a low dose of needed. It worked fantastically!! (btw the Good Sense brand are the same, both made by Perrigo and come in the blue “QuitTube”. Pretty sure most other generic ones also)And I love that one box of patches lasted me the entire first month yet costs what a two week supply of the name brand do. And worked even better! I had tried those higher priced ones a couple times.However even though I’ve stopped the patch after step two last month, I still carry the lozenges in fourths for when I get a craving (like at the pool hall, etc) I don’t use them nearly as often as initially. Sometimes only when I go around smokers. Pretty sure I’ll be off of these too soon.

New Years Resolution
I been trying to quit. Dam it’s hard! 2024 I will take it more seriously.. They have a chalky taste like a unflavored tums.The price is way cheaper then buying a weeks worth of ciggerates. I like that you can toss them in your pocket or purse. Easy to open. I did get the mint one but like I said it’s like eating chalk.. I’m 58 and just diagnosed with emphysema. I Prefer the Minis
I got the full size lozenges because they were cheaper than the minis. These are way bigger than I’d anticipated, lmao. They’re equally effective and taste the same, but I just don’t like the way they feel in my mouth. Also, the caps on these bottles suck. I’ve had the cap come off a few times and wind up with loose lozenges in my coat pocket. That didn’t happen with the mini bottles.But if the alternative is continuing to vape or smoke and hack my lungs off every morning, then I guess I’ll take it. Still, the minis are worth the extra bucks.

Two weeks without a cigarette and I’m not even grumpy.
If I could give it 4.5 stars that would actually be more accurate as there are problems.A medication I take causes dehydration and chronic dry-mouth so I’m not able to follow the directions exactly (don’t drink anything for 15mins before using one, don’t drink with one in your mouth) and they take much longer than 20 minutes to fully dissolve. Otherwise it’s like a slightly gross breath mint that sometimes really irritates my throat.The extreme upside is it eliminates the problem I have with allergies to adhesive on nicotine patches while working just as well to stop the withdrawal symptoms.Overall they are incredibly helpful. And because I can use them at any time I’m even taking fewer trips away from my desk to stand outside and fume about meetings that just got completely derailed.Edit: 100 days after my last cigarette I sometimes use one or two of the 2mg lozenges on high stress days at work. After 30 years as a smoker this still feels like a win.

It Worked for Me!!
Cherry is not my favorite flavor (Cinnamon is), but I definitely prefer these standard-size lozenges, as opposed to the mini-lozenges. The Cinnamon flavored version is consistently more expensive, and I go through a lot of these, but it’s worth every penny to keep me from vaping. Having been a previous smoker many decades ago and then more currently vaping, I have to say that vaping is much more addictive than cigarettes, because you can vape almost anywhere and the smell isn’t a problem. I was such a vaping addict that I even vaped in airplane bathrooms, stalls in airport bathrooms, and stalls in restaurant bathrooms. I was never “caught”, but clearly my addiction was running my life. Vaping is expensive and my voice was becoming hoarse; additionally, you have to keep up with buying the cartridges and charging the devices. Long story short, I’ve been vape-free for at least six months and proud of myself, even though these lozenges are a bit expensive, I’ll keep buying them in Cinnamon and Cherry and sometimes Mint, for as long as I need them. I’m a much happier person and can look at myself in the mirror proudly now!! I hope to inspire at least one person to quit vaping or smoking and try different flavors of these lozenges, because I guarantee you that if I can do it, literally everyone else can too!!! It is completely possible!! Smoking and vaping are vicious addictions, and a lot of work to keep up with; think of it as giving yourself a break from chasing your tail all the time…..finding the product, paying for it, hiding out to smoke or vape, and charging the device or dealing with the sickening smoke smell…. just give yourself a break, make your life easier and give the lozenges a try!!

Worked years ago!
I quit smoking years ago using lozenges. Through my own doing, years later I started smoking again. I have absolute faith that these will help me again. Just follow the instructions! I tried other products such as patches and gum. They didn’t help me. I really think these work because they are something oral that lasts longer per lozenger. It slowly dissolves anywhere from 45 min to an hour. The price on Amazon is amazing!

Cheaper to name brand and just as good.
I used to only buy the name brand because they were significantly nicer than every off brand. But the name brand changed their lozenges to be identical to all of the off brands. So now I save money and buy these.My only complaint is that they should last longer. They typically last about half an hour before dissolving. Name brand lasted 45-60 mins before changing.The name brand was smoother and all around more pleasant before changing. Now every available lozenge is just like these. I wish they’d all be like the name brand used to be. This kind is a bit… slimy, I guess. When you get down to about 10% left, it’s impossible not to chew it. It’s just a slimy little clump in your mouth at that point.All in all I recommend these. They’re the sole reason I quit smoking. I’m a bit different though in that I never stopped using the lozenges. That’s just my choice, though. I stopped initially but then picked them up again years after because I was going through a rough time and found myself turning back to cigarettes. Figured these were less bad for me.Lastly, since the tube they come in is bulky, I put them in a mint container so they fit in my pocket. Works great.

New and… Improved?
I bought this product a year or so ago and it was the version on the left. I recently bought this product a couple days ago and it turned out to be the product on the right. It’s not that the product doesn’t work, I just didn’t use it until a few weeks ago. The small version was super nice as you could just slip it under your tongue and forget about it where as the new version is so big there is no ignoring it. I miss the old version as I feel it was better to kick the habit, being able to forget you are using something to kick nicotine addiction was nice, the lines between supplement and nothing were blurred. It’s too early to decide whether or not the new size will work the same, I am still adjusting to the size difference.

Effective
I quit smoking and smokeless tobacco decades ago. I recently took a couple of puffs off of my wife’s cigarette and got a GREAT buzz. I liked it and soon was taking a few puffs every day. The buzz got less and less as my body got used to the nicotine, but I was liking it anyway. Not wanting to go down that road again and doubting my will power, I bought these lozenges. The first day I slipped a lozenge between cheek and gum, I barely thought about smoking, but could feel the nicotine in my system. The lozenges last about an hour if allowed to dissolve by themselves. Remember, I don’t have the “habit” which is the hardest part about quitting. These will defiantly help curb your nicotine addiction, but you have to kick the “habit” in other ways. Taste is slightly bitter and mint. I only used two a day for 2 days, then only one for 3 days. Now I chew one piece of basic care gum (about 1/3 the dose) if I think about taking a puff.UPDATE/ADDITION: My buddy is (was) a longtime “smokeless” tobacco user that had tried to quit dipping many times. I told him about these lozenges and he bought some. He has not used any tobacco dip since his second day! He tells me that a lozenge slipped into his usual place between cheek and gum gives him the same “tingle” that tobacco did, and he has almost zero desire to use tobacco now. He’s now 1 week tobacco free and only uses 2-4 lozenges a day. It made me feel good to help a friend. I will continue to tout the effectiveness for those who really want to kick tobacco. I have not even thought about smoking since my first review and don’t use the lozenges or gum anymore. Be a quitter, try some if you are SERIOUS.

Between my most recent purchase and the previous purchase, there appears to have been a change in the supplier or manufacturer of these lozenges.The new ones are very disappointing, too much mint flavor, kind of a gritty texture, and they do not seem as strong.I’ll have to try some other varieties, because these are not worth the purchase price. Very unhappy.

I like these but…
I have been using these to quit smoking. Lately most of the boxes have been coming slightly beat up and when I open them I have lots of bits and pieces! They are usually delivered by a person in a car now. I’m starting to think they are using the pkg to play ball with before they get to my home. I’m going to be looking for a new place to buy them from another brand! These are usually less expensive but I can’t even use a lot of them!

Low price, relative to drug stores. Still a monster gouge. Shipping inconsistent.
Nicotine addicts can stop smoking with these. You can be addicted but don’t need to inhale smoke. Being an addict, I get distressed when shipping is disrupted. Usually this ships to me over night. But sometimes it takes days, while I am yearning for a nicky fix. (My current state) Ahhhgh!!!

Stink Free
I believe this product is a good value it works it came really fast and delivered so it’s a great value for your money I would recommend it to anybody trying to quit smoking I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes but it was an addiction I’m using these two slow down on smoking and I’m planning to stop so I will be getting more of these I recommend them to anybody that wants to quit smoking need something else for the cravings I think they work better than patches or gum so I give it a thumbs up

Best I’ve found
As a former smoker, I no longer want anything to do with the menthol cigarettes I smoked from 1967 to 1992. Once I found this, I gSve up on nicotine gum, and between using these exclusively.. A good side benefit is no more throwing out chewed nicotine gum. These have correct the right amount of nicotine flavor to make them taste just right and last just the right amount of time for a satisfying effect. For me, the “brand name,” Nicorettes, are just too strong. These more “generic” brand lozenges are not too strong. I still use the 4 mg lozenges, as the 2 mg, are just too weak to keep me satisfied. I don’t know when I will cut down from 4 mg to 2 mg, but for now, I’m not blowing cigarette smoke on anybody or anything, & I’m not irritating others with gum chewing around them. Im satisfied, and just wish I could get my husband off cigarettes. I guess he’s just not ready yet, but since I’ve quit, I can’t stand having smoke in the house, and he’s content having to smoke his cigarettes out on the veranda, so for now, we’re happy with the current arrangement. I do recommend the generic lozenges tho – the Brand Name Nicorettes, as I stated, are just too strong, even tho they’re supposed to be the same 4 mg lozenges.

Lozenges were smash up.
When they are smashed you can’t really use them. Not all the bottles were like that, but has been happening on the last 4 shipments.

09-2024 Changed Formula – NOT GOOD
The only upside of the change in manufacturer or formulation is that maybe I’ll stop using nicotine. These are AWFUL. The taste is off, the texture is grainy, and they leave a terrible aftertaste. So, after ordering them more often than I’d like to admit, and spending way more money on them than I should, I finally have a good reason to dump them YUCK. Oh, and the new packaging is awful. The caps are difficult to remove and replace, and the foil does not come off. Whoever authorized this switch should get a good talking to.
