Does the job; indistinguishable from store brands
Getting this delivered to our door when we couldn’t fathom going to the store, and didn’t really have enough to justify grocery delivery, was a lifesaver. Couldn’t really tell the difference between this and other store brands, but that’s not a bad thing. It does exactly what you expect it to do, and we were happy to have it.

Great for tough colds!
These work just as well as the name brand ones. They get rid of headaches, mucus, help stuffy noses, and fevers. What’s great about these is they provide a cooling sensation. That helps sore throats feel better and feels pretty cool when you got a fever! I’d buy these again!

Not bad but..
This is a nighttime relief aide for cold sufferers. It’s not a bad product but it does not contain a sleep aid at all. Which is what I normally look for with nighttime meds. But worst of all. It has take every four hours. My cold was pretty bad. Went to bed at 10 and bam it woke me up just after 2. Did not last though the night in other words. Had to get up and take more. I will look for one that’s longer lasting and one that has a sleep aid the next time.

Ice burning lasts for hours – like ingesting dry ice.
There is limited information about the Vapor Ice in this product. I’m not sure what creates the effect of ingesting dry ice but I don’t recommend it. I’m not sure if this is what happens to everyone but it was horrible for me and permeated my entire body. I do not recommend this project.

These work great — as good as any of the higher priced brands. If I’m sick and congested what helps me the most is sleep, but I usually can’t sleep well when sick and congested. These not only help clear up my breathing passageways, but also help kind me fall asleep deeper and longer, so I’m not waking up with every cough or sniffle. These are definitely a staple in my medicine cabinet.

Amazon Basic Care Nighttime Severe Cold and Flu that alleviates the main uncomfortable symptoms of a cold and flu. I like to have these combo flu cold meds on hand for unexpected family cold and flus. It’s similar to to the Nyquil in my medicine cabinet – both contain a pain/fever reducer, cough suppressant and antihistamine. One difference is that the Amazon medication is a coated tab as opposed to Nyquil which is a gel cap. I do prefer gel caps at times when I need quicker relief b/c I feel Gel caps work faster. Overall though, solid cold/flu medication at reasonable price, Recommend!

Exactly what our house needs for symptoms+sleep
My husband gets a lot of colds which start out as asthma flares and end up as a head cold. He is also an essential worker frequently on 16 hour mandatory shifts. He does not have the luxury of sleeping whenever…..his window is small for sleep. This product contains just the right ingredients for symptom relief and sleep support. There is a pain reliever, antihistamine, decongestant and cough suppressant. These are easy to swallow caplets (not gel caps). Overall, a must have for our cold and flu arsenal.

This review is for the Amazon Basic Care Nighttime Severe Vapor Ice Cold and Flu, Coated Caplets. Sometimes during the cold and flu season, you just need a little help to relieve the symptoms and get some rest at night. This product from Amazon Basic Care is formulated to do just that, and at a value when compared to other well-known name brands. It compares very well to the Vicks NyQuil Severe+ VapoCOOL product, and in fact has the exact same active ingredients and dosage amounts, so you can anticipate similar results. Even the inactive ingredients list is identical, with one exception. This product also included Propylene Glycol as an inactive ingredient, which is commonly used as an additive to food processing to shelf life.So if you need temporary relief from cold/flu symptoms like a runny nose and sneezing, coughing, nasal congestion, pain/fever, this product is a good choice.

Relief of cold or flu symptoms PLUS a little help to sleep.
I generally prefer to find a generic or store brand version of commonly used medicines rather than pay premium prices for the brand name. Of course, I look for the same ingredients in those less expensive brands. This product has the same ingredients as a very familiar name brand that I have used in the past. I don’t know if they are included in the same ratios, but I expect they should work the same. I haven’t had a cold or flu recently, so I haven’t been able to test these, but I really appreciate a cold and flu medicine formulated for nighttime use. It’s often hard to sleep when you’re sick, thanks both to frequent coughing and the fact that you may have slept during the day, so a little extra help for sleeping is great.While these capsules aren’t small, they are coated and smooth, and they should be pretty easy to swallow for just about anybody. And they are much more affordable than the more Famous Name brand! Recommended!

Extra power that keeps you going even when your feeling under the weather
Whenever I get a sore throat I go for these. I gag by the taste of the liquid so I started taking these they are much better than the other caps for sore throat relief I’ve tried. The only thing is the caps are really big and hard to swallow if your throat is already swollen and they need to last longer. They only last 3-4 hours. When I am sick with the flu or a terrible cold these pills help so much with the aches and pains, the sore throat, and the body aches. They do not take long at all to start working and I love pairing them with the to help the sickness go away throughout the night as well! My husband swears by this stuff! He takes it as soon as he gets a cold. As a person who doesn’t take meds until she’s on her death bed, I have seen his colds clear much quicker than mine.
