Looks, smells, tastes and works like Nyquil at a fraction of the price. I would order again. 10% alcohol FYI in case that matters. It did knock me out (quick) as Nyquil does and I didn’t cough anymore after taking. Woke up feeling rested with no hangover like I sometimes get after taking cold medicine. I would recommend.

This is an ingredient match to NyQuil at a much cheaper price. I do not care about flavor over all, I get that medicine isn’t supposed to taste good and my main concern is that I sleep and breathe, hopefully at the same time. I will keep this in our medicine cabinet as a good alternative to a much higher priced, name brand cold medicine.

When looking for medicine that’s safe and a great price, off brand is the way to go.This Nighttime Sever Cold & Flu is the same, and works just as good as, Vicks NyQuil Severe. I could see no difference between the two brands. This worked just as well as its name brand competitor.Overall, don’t buy name brand when you can get this Amazon version for cheaper.

Description for this product is accurate, as are the ingredients and medicine detail. Which means this is exactly the same as other brands, but 40% of the cost.I could not discern any difference in flavor – but then again when I have needed this product I could care a less about flavor, or so congested flavor is irrelevant. Just give me some relief so I can get some relief – and this product worked that miracle just fine. Gave me relief for easily 6 hours, but everyone experiences different effectiveness.I would recommend over big name versions – this Amazon brand is a good value.

Some good stuff
Taste like Vicks and actually does make me drowsy and keeps me out for the whole night. I feel a lot of meds lately have not been doing that when I take it. It’s the strangest thing. I’m happy to see something to keep me asleep to actually get rest rather then keep me asleep for only 3 hours. Would buy this again!

Just in time
No I’ve got tested for a covid. Test was negative but has a pretty good cough. At night time the last few days she is had coughing episodes that won’t stop. It’s interrupting my sleep and hers. One small cup of this did the trick. Try to get an hour before bedtime and she was able to sleep through the whole night and it’s suppressed her coughing. I will definitely keep this in the pantry and available going forward. Good stuff and a great price. This bottle would cause double even for a Great value brand at Walmart.

We normally purchase the GV store brand in a 2 pack that is around $11, so this single is about the same price. Both are cheaper than the quill ones.The consistency of this is like water. We are a more used to the slightly thicker consistency. Not an issue, just a heads up so you are not surprised when dosing or drinking.This has a stronger flavor, I think this has a slightly more menthol type ingredient. As 2 of us are fighting colds we have been trying both this one night & the GV the other night. Also have been able to do a side by side taste test to make sure the flavor difference was not just in our minds, it is not.It work as expected & does help you sleep. Maybe not all night if your symptoms are strong.

Horrible taste!
I normally buy a generic brand of Nyquil, Severe Cold, original flavor. I’ve bought many of the generics over the years and they are all very similar. This one however, is horrible! At first, l just noticed that it’s runny like water, unlike others that have a slight thicker liquid. But what was really disgusting is the flavor. It was like pure alcohol. Not the cool minty flavor. Just a burn all the way down! I won’t be buying Amazon’s version again. Save your money!

I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine, but I frequently get congested at night. I have been using a much more expensive (like twice as much) name brand nighttime cold and flu remedy.
