Good value but small
Got these for my Itailan greyhound who has to take tummy meds and normally we crush and put into food with other brands but this one is so small it goes into food and he eats w/o noticing. So for us this works but if you are clumsy or elderly you might drop the pill or fumble with it. Other then that no complaints.

Impossible to Split
I purchased this for a small dog, who requires up to 5mg, because this is the lowest dosage on Amazon for famotidine or omeprazole. Unfortunately, the pills are not scored and cannot be split cleanly. We’ve had to crush them to use them, but it is not the best option if your vet says not to go over 5mg.

As effective as ranitidine; good value for the price
I was taking ranitidine (the ingredient in Zantac) for years but, since the product was pulled from the shelves, needed to make a change. The effectiveness of this famotidine is comparable to that of ranitidine in minimizing acid heartburn. I prefer this 10mg version to that of the 20mg since I find it works best by taking one in the morning and another in the afternoon, rather than just one dose in the AM.The price has spiked for this in the past few weeks, but purchasing direct from Amazon (versus a third-party seller) kept the price very reasonable and, in fact, made it a better value than the Ranitidine I was using. The bottle I purchased in May 2020 has an expiration date of Feb 2022.Works well, easy to take, and a good value. Zero complaints.

A few months ago I turned 30, and along with a new decade of life experience and wisdom came pretty much daily heartburn. I’ve made several dietary and lifestyle changes to cut bag on digestive discomfort in recent years as my heartburn became more and more frequent, but my love of coffee and spicy foods were my undoing. Or so I thought. Along came this stuff. Reasonably priced, no cancer-causing ingredients like the stuff I used to use (that we know of), and most importantly it doesn’t interact with my antidepressant. I used the name brand for a while until I found this. It’s more affordable here than any of my local stores for a 90 day supply. And let me tell you, it is a GAME. CHANGER. Sometimes I just want to eat pasta with marinara and Italian sausage, and this stuff delivers when I get the inevitable heartburn afterwards. I love cooking with lemon juice and this stuff is there to catch me when I fall. A glass or two of white wine on a hot summer evening? No worries, I pop one of these before bed. Don’t waste your money on the name brand, this stuff does the trick just fine.

Same as name brand but cheaper
These cheaper than Pepcid generic famotidine pills work for me and I used to be able to buy them at the local pharmacy until it got bought out. Now they sell teeny tiny famotidine pills that are easily dropped and lost. Same story at the grocery store. I finally lost patience with them and found these online.

These are great
These seem to work just as well as the name brand and are much cheaper. They are small pills you pop out the back of the card they are on and they come out easily for those who may struggle with such things. They’re easy to swallow and are a great value. I recommend these highly. I will buy again when needed.

Good product, but watch for short expiration time!
I use this product and will continue to use it. I was surprised at how inexpensive it is compared to other choices (# of pills, and dosage). However, when I received the product I noticed the expiration date is the end of THIS month (June, 2023). I ordered a 3-month (90 day) supply that is only good for less than 30 days!

Relieves Acid Reflux
I have experienced Acid Reflux at night for several years. If I eat dinner too late or if dinner food is spicy, I take one of these Amazon Basic Care Acid Reducer Famotodome tablets before I go to bed and then have NO acid reflux. I found it also helps of I lie on my left side to sleep. I take these tablets ONLY as needed–not EVERY night.

Great heartburn relief, fast!
This is my second purchase of this product. I can off of my long acting Prilosec and only use this on occasion. It gets used quite a bit in my home. This works just as well as the brand name Pepcid. I will order again.

I read you could score this pills, you can not! Somebody said they were square, they are not! I need to give my cat 1/4 pill everyday per vet for kidney disease. It’s a nightmare to cut these with a pill cutter! They are small so they slip out of cutter and they are round not flat. It’s impossible to cut them in fours. I might be able to get three the other one flies somewhere or crumbles in pieces, it’s a mess! If you plan on cutting these, buy another brand. I have to throw these away and find some that are scored and flat. As for them working, I have no idea because the cat spits them out with the jagged edges and probably too big of piece because I can’t cut them correctly

Terrible for splitting!
I have a cat with a digestive disorder. He receives 1/4 tablet every day. These pills are TERRIBLE for splitting. They fracture and splinter. I normally only get 3 doses per pill, when I should be getting 4. The remaining 1/4 is dust.That being said, they work as they should. I’ve taken some myself, and they do stop heartburn.

Bought this for a cat, seriously
So, I have this cat that constantly was puking, every night…. Took her to vet, had blood tests and other tests done to no avail. The Vet recommended using this to see if it helped. Vet said to cut pills in half so we purchased a pill cutter to do that after not having much luck getting a good cut with a knife as pills would split.Anyway, these have worked wonders, I might have cat puke once every 2 weeks now compared to daily!!! Very happy with this product and it’s not so “normal” usage.
