Its antiseptic but…
It can be used as antiseptic/disinfectant but this is different from isopropyl alcohol it even smells closer to polish remover. If you are allergen/asthma sensitive to smells this may not be the product to get because it triggered me.

Toxic smell
I usually use those for cleaning. It was cheaper on Amazon so I ordered but I can’t stand the smell. It’s so toxic. If it wasn’t for the fact I already transferred it into my spray bottles, I’d have returned it.

What my granite counter tops needed!
This product doesn’t smell too strongly like alcohol, just a light scent and it works great to disinfect our kitchen granite tops. It also cleaned our bathroom granite counter tops perfectly too! Left a shine that makes them look brand new.I mixed 1 cup of cold water, 1-2 small drops of dish washing liquid, and 4 Tablespoons of rubbing alcoholin a spray bottle. Used a clean microfiber cloth, sprayed the cloth and wiped away. We use it daily for this need and we are pleased with the results!A happy customer of rubbing alcohol!

Decent ethyl product
Updated review: I discovered that this is denatured with a mix of additives including Acetone. I was cleaning pet food splatters and it melted the paint on the wall. So, in the following original review I no longer consider it good for mixing with essential oils. Good antiseptic but not as a solvent to clean anything sensitive to Acetone…* I use this to mix with essential oils to make home made perfume. This is a good percentage ethanol for that purpose. *You can also use this for antiseptic cleaning, for which it is intended. From my experience, 70% ethanol is an essential amount to sterilize surfaces and skin. That paired with 10% sodium hypochlorite will sterilize almost any viral or bacterial pathogen.

Beware it has acetone.
Acetone is listed in the inactive ingredients. I personally would not use it as an antiseptic for rubbing on a minor cut or scrape, since acetone is a skin irritant. It smells like acetone, too. For those of you who add alcohol to a DIY floor cleaning solution, your home will smell like acetone with this one.

Cleans great!!
I got a new electric shaver, and my old one still have a few months left in it and a friend of mine was looking for one and I said he could have my old one, but you don’t just give your old shaver to a friend without cleaning it off the right way, and alcohol is really the only way to do it in this particular case. I poured some on with a little bit of water and boom.. fresh and clean as a whistle. It def Does what it’s supposed to do.

Smells terrible; leaves invisible residue
I use 70% rubbing alcohol all the time to remove oils and residue off items (eyeglasses, knife, metal coffee stirring stick, etc). This is my first time trying the Solimo brand. WOW. Although you can’t see it, even after the alcohol dries, it leaves behind an invisible residue that has a STRONG, unpleasant taste. I’d cleaned a knife, went to use it to cut a fruit, and noticed a strong unpleasant acidic taste. Even though the knife was dry AND I had manually double dried it with paper towels. The residue was still there. Definitely don’t use this rubbing alcohol on any tools or utensils that will go in your mouth. I’ve never had this happen with other generic brands from the store.Plus, the smell is terrible in general. This alcohol works in a pinch, but I’ll never order this brand again.

Works great to keep acne at bay
Using this to control acne breakouts. Did research and found a spa on youtube that uses acetone on clients faces prior to facials.My regular go to is 91% alcohol on the face to clean it after showers, prior to bedtime, and early mornings.So I wanted to find alcohol with acetone in it and found it in this.Works good but not really feeling the smell nor the taste.I say taste because after wiping around the mouth area and it dries, licking your lips gets the taste on your tongue (because of getting the alcohol too close to the lips) and it tastes like pure strong chemicals (there are other ingredients in this product as well).The alcohol that I usually buy of course doesn’t have this taste after licking lips even if it gets on the mouth accidently because the extra ingredients aren’t in it.
