Compare to Depends
It says “Compare to Depends”. I looked for cheaper “Depend” adult diapers and couldn’t find any nearly as cheap as Amazon’s. My hubby swears by these. They’re the only ADs I tried (and I tried 6 different brands/types) that fit well and don’t leak … UNLESS … My hubby has dementia, so sometimes he knows what that feeling is and sometimes he doesn’t. When he’s just not “feelin it”, he will sit in a soggy AD until pee squishes out of it. That cannot be helped by any AD. It will look obviously engorged before it becomes able to leak. Keep an eye out & don’t let him sit all day! These are the best for men. Period.

Basic and Inexpensive
The “Large” size work for me, a guy with a 44″ waist pushing 300#. I am at the top end for the large size and these are a good fit; the stretchy material can probably go another 2-3″ around the waist. That does NOT mean someone with a 46″ waist could wear these; they’re comfortable on me because of the added stretch. And yes, I would call these adult pull-ups.As for absorbency they’re good but people think of these as these are not adult diapers which they are not. You cannot use these to “skip” a trip to the bathroom. You use these because you can’t get to the bathroom fast enough, but you *still* need to get there. That’s the difference between adult diapers (thicker, lot more absorption) vs incontinence underwear (thinner, less padding).I wear regular underwear on top of these it helps prevent them from shifting around. Also I’d rather have someone see the back of my underwear covering my backside instead of the stretchy while material that is unique to incontinence underwear–year, I’m vain… Also wearing the normal underwear on top prevents the stretchy material from being ‘rubbed’ by my pants. That’s probably why I haven’t any issued with the durability of the incontinence underwear.As for thickness, its hard to tell that I’m wearing anything other than normal underwear when I’m wearing me regular jeans. Even without the jeans, the incontinence underwear is barely noticeable under the boxer-briefs that I wear. Very happy about that.After my stroke, I can feel the need to go but cannot stop myself. Once my body needs to go, I’ve got maybe a minute to get myself to the bathroom before the floodgates open. As a child you learn to hold it until you can get somewhere to relieve yourself. I lost that muscle control with the stroke and this underwear gives me added time to get to a bathroom without embarrassing myself.For #2 I have more time; slightly better muscle control after the stone. These underwear cannot handle a full load of #2. It can handle a small mess, but it’s just to give you time to get to the bathroom. If you need underwear to handle #2, you really need adult diapers. There have been nights when I woke up and really needed to go. I’m 10 steps from the toilet and on my worst night, I went 1/3 in the underwear and 2/3 in the toilet. The underwear was barely able to contain the mess. fortunately that is a very rare nonoccurence. If you need #2 protection, these are not it.Hopefully in a few more months, I will be able to develop the muscle control so that I won’t need these. In the mean time, these work for for I need them to handle. If you choose to go with these, have realistic expectations. I started by wearing adult diapers overnight after I left rehab and graduated to these over a three month period.

Everyone is different and every pull up is different.It is expensive to keep up. I use these from Amazon during the day when my husband does have easy access to the bathroom. I use different brands for overnight . This saves me money as our favorite Depends overnight work well but we need less protection in the daytime.These from Amazon do a great job for a more casual day.Saves us $$$$

Functional but extremely uncomfortable. Depends on what you’re going for. If you just want sudden ’emergency’ protection they are fine. If you want to wear them around through the day, you’ll probably want to look for the more expensive name brands.

Great for blood

Mens pull ups
The reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is my fault. My husband is 6’4″ and weighs about 235 lbs. It was my first time to purchase this type of product. I ordered an XL and although it is a bit big, it holds all the leakage. I only wish they were not so long as it hangs between his legs. BUT, that may be due to his belly pushing them down. I tried another brand size Lg. There was quite a difference. Although more like briefs, they were too small. To answer a few questions… there is no skin irritation and they do the job they are designed for.

solid choice for short-term use
I chose to wear disposable briefs while preparing for a medical procedure to provide extra protection against any incontinence that could have resulted from the process. I didn’t need a large quantity, and I was surprised to find that name brand options can be expensive. After spending more time comparing reviews than I probably should have devoted to the cause, I settled on this version from Amazon Basics.The elastic waist provided plenty of flexibility and accommodation for a large range of waist sizes, and I found the described sizing to be accurate. My waist size falls within the large range, which is what I ordered. For comparison, I usually size up to extra large with standard underwear for comfort.For my use case and duration, the Amazon Basics option worked fine and helped me save money, providing great value.

These were purchased for an elderly man. He said that compared to Depends, they are not as user friendly. It is hard to quickly and easily tell the front from the back and the material they are made of doesn’t feel much like real underwear. They did the job, but weren’t as comfortable or as easy to figure out as Depends.

Could use some more absorbent material in the back.
Fits well and the tight fit around the legs hold in liquid and spillage, but it really needs more of it as it does not absorb all the fluids at times. It could use more of the absorbing material going further up the back side if you have a bigger problem than Urine. You may have to be careful when removing the pants so it won’t leak. Liquids pool in the bottom and you might need to use some TP to help absorb it to keep it from spilling out the sides. That said, if you have bowel issues like me, it will contain it most of the time.

These work well
I am 5’8″ inches tall at 163 #’s. I wear the large size and they work well. I discovered that when you pee do it in short bursts. This gives the material time to absorb the liquid. I have worn these all day long and found them comfortable. They will hold, at least for me, a total of 11.2 ounces which translates into over a cup of liquid. You do have to remember that with liquid comes weight. I found that by mid afternoon I would have to pull up on them a little. I’ve had no problem with side leakage. The first liner keeps you very dry, even though it doesn’t feel like it while your peeing you do stay dry. I do like when you’re ready to remove them you simply tear at the side seams and they come right off. After reading the negatives on other products I am staying with these.

Good Brief
The price is what keeps me buying this product. My complaint is with Amazon changing delivery after I purchase the item. I have a subscription but I was running out before my next shipment. I was supposed to get them on the 20th of March which cut it close but today they changed delivery to the 23rd. Now I am out and can’t buy any brand in any store that will fit my husband. Very poor service and it is becoming the norm with Amazon.

The size is off for obese patients
My dad is morbidly obese and is now elderly. He has a 48 waste when he is standing and a 60 when he is sitting because fat spreads out. The package size chart says this should have worked. It didn’t. I returned and went up a size to the biggest. They work but barely.

the fit is off
I went for the 2x because the XL was too tight. The size difference between them is quite wild as these are almost too big. I prefer the mens over the womens because they seem to hold more especially for body types that aren’t necessarily traditional. I’ll probably buy this brand again because they are inexpensive for what they are and work better than some of the others I’ve tried, but I’d just beware of the size difference.

You owe it to yourself to try this product. The name brand men’s product tries to hijack the whole category by referring to itself as essentially men’s diapers. Amazon basics calls this product disposable men’s underwear and that’s exactly what it is. The product is comfortable stylish and absorbs incontinence and most importantly heaps itself sanitary. Bulky but effective
