The purple color is a nice touch for kids, as it helps them see where they’ve applied the glue, and it does indeed dry clear as advertised. The glue spreads evenly without clumping, and it dries relatively quickly, which is a plus when working on school projects or crafts.Usability:One thing I appreciate is the smooth application. It’s a glue stick so there isn’t too much to say, but I noticed that the purple color fades very quickly, before the glue is dry. Since the purpose of coloring the glue in the first place is so you can see where you have already put glue, this is not ideal. The glue itself does work fine.

Reasonably Priced Glue Sticks!
I finally had a reason to use these glue sticks and was very pleased with their quality for such a reasonable price! I have some peel and stick closure envelopes that need a little help to stay closed for mailing and the glue stick was very helpful. The cap on the glue stick was a bit difficult for me to open but, once opened, the results were great! I have used glue sticks in the past without the purple color and it was tough to see where I had glued. These sticks solved that issue beautifully!
