Lightweight
Neutral smell and lightweight/smooth finish. I mixed this with mineral powders and fragrance to use as a daily tinted moisturizer so I cannot comment on a white cast.

works great for an adult with sensitive skin
I have been using this sunscreen for myself for quite a few months now. I have very chemical sensitive skin and am on medications that makes my skin sensitive to sun and heat and live in Florida so I have to wear sunscreen head to toe everyday. I’ve been through just about every cheap baby sunscreen trying to afford mass amounts of daily gentle sunscreen and this one is currently the best one overall : it has a nice creamy moisturizing texture, covers well, very gentle and the bottle is not super tiny so you wont go broke buying it if you have to buy it constantly like me. However, I can’t attest to how water fast it is because I haven’t been in a beaches or pools with it…otherwise five stars.

Great sunscreen that DOES NOT sting your eyes
The most frustrating issue most of us have with sunscreens (like the entire line of Neutrogena brand sunscreens) is that they sting our eyes. Even the baby formulas can burn our eyes. The second issue we have is the white residue that many leave on our skin. This product is outstanding!! Zero stinging, zero white residue and zero sunburns. If you are concerned about buying this unknown brand… don’t be. You can’t beat what you get for the price. This product is a winner!!

Seems to work!
I purchased this for a trip snorkeling on a coral reef. It says it’s reef friendly, but how am I to judge that? Anyway, I didn’t get sunburn and it lasts in the water. It is scent free, too. Generous size.

Sun Protection All Year Round
My skin has always been very sensitive to the sun. That’s why I use baby products, even though I’m certainly not a child. This product has great sunscreen protection, and keeps me safe from sun poisoning and protects my face from unnecessary aging. It’s good to use year-round for protection.

Pleasant surprise
This sunscreen ingredients list is very similar to the sport version. Despite the similarities the texture is more liquidy and doesn’t have a strong fragrance, although is does have a plastic like sent. Light texture that sets down quickly and has a mild shine (less than the majority of chemical sunscreens in the US). Elegant enough for daily use. No white cast and rare American sunscreen that doesn’t burn my eyes. Comes off well with soap and water. Cheap enough to use over the entire body.Overall if I had to pick one American sunscreen to use for the rest of my life this would be it.

Light, airy, mouse-like lotion!!
Absolutely love this! It’s almost a mouse texture because it’s light, airy, and very easy to rub in. I let my young kids apply it themselves and then I just inspect quickly. Really great value for the money! Highly recommend!!

Fine but disappointed
The sunscreen was great and cost effective but got it because assumed if it was for babies / kids it wouldn’t have harmful chemicals. Unfortunately this is wrong as it has several endocrine disrupters in it. I was disappointed 😞 as I thought it was otherwise good, but I have stopped using it after I discovered that. I don’t think it’s probably all that different to a lot of sunscreens but thought for kids more care would have been made.

Best sunscreen for athletes
My husband teaches tennis outdoors and has tried a ton of brands. After Neutragena recalled their sunscreen he tried this one. He loves it! It allows his skin to breath (doesn’t clog pores), stays on, and lasts for several hours during hot & humid days. There’s a very light scent.

Uv/sun bocker
I am highly allergic to UVA and VUB rays. This is looting go on like a body lotion. Lotion is Broad Spectrum SPF 50. With this on and my UV protective clothing, I can be out side about 3-4 hours. With out any protection, I only have about 15-20 minutes, before my rash startes.

We got burned!
Just now trying this sunscreen out. It’s mid-March in Oklahoma and not too sunny yet. Both my child and I got sunburned even though I reapplied it throughout the day. I’ve used the Solimo Sport all through last year and it worked well. I would expect a baby sunscreen to work better. I can’t even return it!

Solimo sunscreen is old.
Out of date! Solimo is selling old sunscreen. The manufacture date is 2019 and it’s now March 2023. FDA recommends discarding sunscreen after 3years.

Don’t Buy It!

Terrible. Dangerous to babies. Allergic Reaction.
We are beyond upset at this product. It is supposed to be baby friendly and sensitive to skin, like other baby sunscreens, but our daughter had a terrible reaction to this. Her face got swollen and eyes almost swollen shut. This is unacceptable. This product should be pulled off the market immediately. She has never had any other allergy or reaction. No other brand has caused issues and she wore sunscreen every day this summer. We thought this would be good, being an Amazon brand, but that is not the case. I will be hard pressed to try any other Amazon Private Label product. Do not buy.

Caused toddler’s face to swell.
My toddler had a bad reaction to this that left his face red and swollen for several hours after washing it off. We’ve used other brands of baby sunscreen on him with no problem. Because of the price, I was hoping this would work well but we won’t be able to use it now. Just make sure to test on a small area before using it on your baby.

Scent will remind you more of baby powders than sunscreen…
This sunscreen (Solimo Sunscreen for Babies, SPF 50), has the “usual suspects” for active ingredients. Thus, it is not “reef-friendly.” Regardless, for non-ocean experiences, the lotion goes on smoothly and easily, and has a faint scent that will remind you more of baby powders than sunscreen. I used it on my arms, legs, and face for a 50 mile bike ride. It seemed to provide the requisite protection!

Works well and saves you money
For the price I really like this sunscreen. My daughter likes to help put her lotion or sunscreen on and some brands are too thick to spread over the skin easily but this one smooths on like butter and she can easily rub it in herself at 16 months old. She didn’t burn after three hours in the sun and it has a very mild scent. My daughter does not have sensitive skin so I found that this worked well for her everywhere except on her face. She must have rubbed it on her eye because around her eye got red and puffy for about an hour after we applied it but it didn’t seem to bother her and it went away with no issue. I will probably use something different for her face in the future though.

Short Expiration Date
Expiration date is too short, if you intend to use this for your child’s school/daycare, be prepared for them to reject/return it prior to being used completely. Better off pickup up at a store where you’ll know what the expiration date is.

Smells like farts
This stuff smells so bad! I love the smell of sunscreen but this stuff smells like a mixture of baby powder and vomit. It also made my little one break out (rarely breaks out from other stuff). Went back and bought some from wally world, much better value. Also you can’t return it. Stuck with farts.
