Good at whitening, not as many uses as advertised though
It lasted me about 2 weeks, it says you’ll only have to click it once for every four teeth but I found myself doing more clicks until I could see wetness on the brush. It did whiten my teeth though.The packaging is also super wasteful and I would buy an alternative if anyone else sold an overnight whitening pen with no taste to it. Why does it look like a makeup container with a metal body? Who needs to carry this with them every day? (Remember, it’s for overnight use) And what’s with the sturdy plastic stand that comes with it even when you buy a 1 pack? If it can be kept in a purse then it doesn’t need a stand to keep it upright. If it needs to be kept upright then it can’t be kept in a purse and hence doesn’t need the fancy metal body. Pick one at least, Colgate!A thin plastic pen with a single flat side to keep it from rolling off a counter would be my suggestion here.Edit 8/2/2024: I went back to use my extra pen of this stuff and realized that it had a March expiration date…I bought it in November, so that’s like 4 or 5 months where it’s considered most effective. I’ll probably still use it, but that’s not very good. Hopefully Amazon has just been sitting on one shipment of this stuff for a while and it doesn’t actually expire that quickly from Colgate, but FYI.

Finally, I can see results.
I can see results fast with this product. Very good, but I will say, it does burn your gums when in contact with them. Repeated use inflamed my gums, and I had to take a break. Other then that, it was great!

As the title states, this really does whiten your teeth. I drink lots of coffee and soft drinks so my teeth have gotten a bit yellow over the past couple of years. I wanted to regain my white smile back and so I wanted to try this product. It brought back the smile I had and made it even whiter than before, with a caveat; Application and ease of use.This product is a nightmare to use. It takes alot of time and is hard to apply. Even with my dry-as-a-bone teeth, after drying them with 5-6 tissues and making sure they are absolutely completely dry, this pen and its brush still get clumpy and gross. The worst part is that when the brush gets clumpy, it will never retain to its original form like it was before. Never. No matter what you do. If you don’t cover it properly, the brush will be rock-hard the next time you want to use it. Make sure you don’t get it even slightly wet or leave it open. You need to hear a click to make sure it’s capped.Clicking the pen a bunch of times to dispense more serum to try and soften the bristles works, up to an extent. You will still be able to use the product, but the brush will NEVER be the same, as I previously stated.The solution/serum inside works wonders, but the method of application and the real-world application of it needs some improving. I think a little tube with a little brush (separate), just like toothpaste, would be better.This all being said, it is a wonderful product for whitening your teeth, as long as you can handle the absurd application procedure. Disappointed
I’m surprised how high the reviews are for this product. I whitens ok and it is easy to use. I don’t like weird film that is formed when the stuff dries and it feels weird to me. I bought some whitening pens from CVS years ago and they worked great. They don’t make them anymore that’s why I tried this one. It’s a thumbs down for me.

Works! I’m impressed
I am a first time user of teeth whitening, so I wanted to track the progress. I left the whitening treatment on my teeth for about 4-5 hours. Even after just that amount of time I can see a noticeable difference! I’m excited to continue using this and see what else it can do for me. I’m a coffee drinker so my teeth get yellow, no matter how often I brush or floss.I followed instructions to dry teeth with a paper towel and did one row at a time while keeping my mouth open the whole time, worked for me! The solution left a light film on my teeth but it didn’t bother me at all.Overall I’m happy! And hope to see progression with more continued use.

Dried Out Product
I had high hopes for this product when I ordered it. It was expensive for one pen! I used it once and the pen brush immediately became clumpy hard. I followed the instructions and I wiped the brush with a dry paper towel. The brush never unclumped making it difficult to apply for other attempts. I was not satisfied with this product. Not only is it expensive but it didn’t feel worth it. It felt like the product was old and it didn’t feel full to last even 2 days. I would NOT recommend! Save your money!

Great idea, POOR execution…
I usually use (and am generally happy with) Whitestrips, but figured I’d give this a try for an area the Whitestrips miss: inbetween teeth where stains readily build up (and are hard to reach for removal).Simply put? This product did NOTHING for those stained areas. Worse yet, it’s a relative nightmare to use–especially on lower teeth.Supposedly this is “easy to apply,” but it really isn’t. For starters, it’s hard to tell if any of the dispensed liquid is even applied after the 1st tooth–as each “clickably” dispensed application is supposed to cover 3 or more teeth. And the dispensed liquid quickly and readily gums up the brush applicator. That same gummy, textured material also frequently attaches to the inside of your mouth, even if you are able to keep your teeth fully exposed until the liquid dries. (yes, you’ll be “grinning” like a loon for numerous minutes, that or blow-drying your teeth!) :DOn the upside, it didn’t really irritate my teeth or gums, but brushing it off often did (as it doesn’t readily come off–especially inbetween your teeth and right at/on the gumline). I also figured out an easier application method, which was to click the pen until the liquid flowed and let it pool on a plastic lid (so that I could dip the brush into the little pool of liquid). This sped up application and minimized the messiness, but I still had to repetitively dry my teeth and gums, clean the brush, swab spittle out of the way as I waited for the liquid to dry on my teeth, hold my mouth unnaturally open to keep the teeth exposed for the same (drying) reason, and frequently wipe the excess from other mouth areas that contacted my teeth or the brush during the process.Even all of the above-mentioned annoyance would be worth it if this pen whitened the stained areas I was targeting, but I really didn’t notice any difference whatsoever after multiple applications (supposedly this whitens away 15 years in a week). I’m guessing this product may be helpful if you aren’t as fastidious as I am when it comes to dental care (I brush and floss at least twice daily–immediately after breakfast and dinner, I use a whitening rinse, I further whiten with Whitestrips 1-2x yearly, and I generally avoid–or brush or rinse soon after consuming–heavily staining foods or drinks). Nonetheless, this product states it removes stains, so it should have impacted the stained areas I was targeting.BOTTOM LINE: I found this whitening pen to be both time-consuming and annoying to use. Worse yet, it didn’t provide any noticeable whitening to the areas I was targeting on my teeth–especially those normally hard-to-reach areas where a pen-like, brush applicator device should be optimally suited.

The toothpaste has a pleasant, minty flavor that leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. It’s smooth without the gritty sensation often felt with other whitening toothpastes. It’s just fine!
Overall, the pen is fine. I’ve seen results, so it’s not like it’s a product that doesn’t work. However, my results have been subtle. What I don’t like about it is it’s very hard to know if each tooth is getting the right/same amount of product compared to the other teeth around it. Also, even though I have followed the instructions for clean and care after use, the tip has gotten gunky contributing to some applications seeming uneven. I think if you have one or two teeth that are more stained than the rest, you should buy this product to target those specifically. But if you are looking for a product to do a basic whitening for all teeth, I would look elsewhere. My husband just got the strips + light by Crest and has been impressed.In summary: this product is fine but I won’t choose it again!

Sensitive teeth only 2-3X a week!
This tooth whitening serum works pretty well for my sensitive teeth which are coffee/tea-stained.I only use it 2 or 3 times per week, never twice in a row. It does leave a plasticky coating on teeth and gums that I need to flick off with a fingernail or dental pick over the garbage before brushing the next morning.It definitely lightened the yellow-ish stains between my teeth and along the gumline. I will continue to use it, as it works well for me, just not as often as directed. My dentist also told me that it’s fine to use, but not as often as the manufacturer recommends.

Works really well, but application can take time
I tend to write long reviews, so here’s a quick list of positives and negatives of the whitening pen. This may also answer some questions you have about using the whitening pen:Positives:-Actually whitened my teeth!-No bad taste-No irritation/pain-Easy to apply-Nice packagingNegatives:-Did not last as long as the box said it would (lasted 1.5 weeks instead of the 30 usages the box promised)-You have completely to dry off your teeth and then paint on the solution on each individual tooth (I personally didn’t mind this. It just took a little while to do)-If you paint over wet teeth, it will ruin the brush-The solution easily clumps up in areas on teeth after it dries (this didn’t bother me much, but thought it was worth mentioning)Okay so here’s my more in depth review:I’ve tried just about every whitening toothpaste on the market, charcoal, baking soda, and more, with no results. I heard about this pen and thought I’d give it a try. I was a bit nervous because I can have sensitive gums, but I felt no irritation whatsoever! The pen lasted exactly a week and a half before I used it all up (so it did not last the 30x stated on the box!). In that time, I can honestly say my teeth look whiter! I was pleasantly surprised. Believe me, the yellow on my teeth was stubborn! I may purchase the pen again to whiten my teeth even more.However, I noticed a few things about the pen that might be considered negatives to some people. First of all, you have to COMPLETELY dry your teeth before “painting” on the whitening solution with the pen. Otherwise, the solution gets all clumpy and dries up on the brush, which will ruin it. Also, be aware that the pen paints this solution on your teeth and sort of leaves a thin film/coating over your teeth overnight. The solution doesn’t have a taste or anything, but you will definitely want to brush your teeth in the morning to get it all off. Also, be aware that the solution will clump up in places on your teeth when it dries.I was not aware that that was how the pen works when I bought it, but looking back, I noticed that most of the negative reviews focused around the white clumpyness of the solution on your teeth. This honestly didn’t bother me much, though it was a little bit of a hassle to dry off my teeth and get an even coating on each tooth.Additionally, you will only be able to whiten your front teeth, as it is to hard to dry off and paint the teeth at the back of the mouth.Overall, I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by this whitening tool. I’ve tried so many different things and this is the first that has worked! If you are okay with the few “negatives” than definitely purchase this product! I would purchase this again!As a note, I tried to take before and after pictures but because of bad lighting, they didn’t turn out. But I did see a huge improvement in my teeth’s whitening!

Used twice and it won’t click anymore gel out
I went to use this for the 3rd night in a row i love the whitening pen application but it was hard to get the gel out I felt like I had to click the pen a bunch of times to get anything out so it only lasted me for 2 treatments, when I went to use it for the 3rd night the pen wouldn’t click anymore. I do think I got results and like that there’s no tooth sensitivity.

Does not “Whiten” your teeth.
I have used this product for 14 days, while following close attention to applying the product as directed. I have a teeth color-chart that I use to measure how much closer to whitening my teeth is. There is some improvement, however my teeth did not get “White”. Keep in mind that my teeth are a mild yellow from drinking coffee & dark sodas. So with that said, I expected this product to “Whiten” my teeth as this product has advertised. Someone with heavy yellow stains…this product won’t work. I don’t recommend to purchase this product, as I won’t be purchasing this product anytime soon.

I have been using this product for 3 days now and I can already see results, you have to wipe it clean after you use it but you can’t use water, so it was stressful the first night I did it. if you leave the pen out without the cap for too long it will start to harden so keep that in mind, but I works fast and it doesn’t taste horrible but definitely does not taste good, but you only taste it if you use too much and then swelling immediately afterwards. I used to have really bad stains in my bottom row and they are now only after 3 days significantly lighten.

Be patient waiting for results
I’m 68 and understand that getting your teeth white is harder as we age. I initially wasn’t sure this pen was going to improve the appearance of my teeth, but my patience and consistent use has been rewarded. My teeth aren’t so white they glow in the dark, but they’re white now. In addition to using the pen, I also use the Colgate Pro 5% solution toothpaste regularly. This regimen has provided good results after approximately 15 days. When my teeth feel a bit sensitive from this routine I get quick relief from using a fluoride toothpaste designed to relieve sensitivity.

Easy to use & works overnight
I like this product because it’s very easy to use and unlike other traditional teeth whitening strips, you can just apply this and go to sleep. Then you just wipe the residue off in the morning. Thus, it’s easier to find time to use this product.However I still have this product a 3 because I find that it is not as effective as some of the teeth whitening strips. And, you may need to use the product a bit longer to see the effects.As you can see in the photo, it is small and easy to keep out on your bathroom counter. It also comes with a little stand which is helpful because you need to keep it stored standing up to keep the brush fresh/prevent the product from getting damaged.

As a coffee and cola enthusiast, I knew I had my work cut out for me when it came to whitening my teeth. Works, but difficult to use
This product actually works well. However, the bristles get wrock hard after use, and it takes way more than the number of clicks to even get it out of the tube than listed in the diretions. Great whitener, but hard to use.

Mediocre
Saw slight difference but not a huge effect. The brush/tube clogs up making it hard to get product out as well as strings up when it starts to dry. And water nor using a paper towel helps it clean up. The idea is there and isn’t bad for the price to try it but was not the best product.
