They aren’t playing around with this thing
If you have very rough feet, this will be the perfect file for you. It’s big, and will definitely remove dead skin and callouses fast. It’s a borderline cheese grater though, so when you read the packaging and it says “light pressure” they are NOT kidding. This isn’t one of those chintzy drug store foot files. I was using what I considered light pressure and I still overdid it a bit. If you have sensitive feet, or you only have light callouses, this will probably be too aggressive, even with light pressure.

I have a lot of dead skin on the heels specifically of my feet. It’s very strange but all day runs in my family. My mom has horrible dead skin all over her feet it basically makes like a horseshoe that’s hit on your heels no joking! Minot that does but it’s pretty darn close! I had one bad experience at going to a place to get it done. But I went with someone so they went before me while my feet soaked double time in the tub of water. They were quickly done with the first person and off to me. She literally filled her foot scrubber which had a backside to it to hold in the dead skin cells. It was almost a centimeter thick to be honest. Let’s just say she filled the entire foot scrubber on a single, one heel of my foot. It was so bad that she kept scrubbing and sheets of dead skin were flying out of the top of this thing! She stuck it in the tub of water and my water looked like oatmeal water you could not see through it at all I was humiliated. She started speaking in another language very angrily while doing my foot about to do the next one. It wasn’t as bad as the first one but it was still full but not coming out of the top. Anyway this is the closest thing I’ve been able to find that works just like going to the salon. She did a fantastic job but I was too embarrassed to go back again so I found this online and it’s stainless steel and I’ve had it for years three now and it still looks brand new and I get my heels done in less than a minute per foot! It is better if you suck your feet first but you don’t have to this thing is a lifesaver!! If you have dead skin and those paddles with sandpaper glued on there taking at least 20 minutes to file your one foot just to get enough dead skin off then you need this! One more minute per foot it was taking 30 minutes to do one foot for me! And don’t get me started on those foot egg things that don’t work at all for me they leave like a grating this behind where this leaves a smooth finish. Lifesaver go get one!

Y’all! This foot rasp…..I don’t care how gross and overgrown your calluses are, this bad boy will do the trick. Just a few scrubs and your feet will be so smooth that it will shock you. This product works so well that I felt the need to come here and leave a review. A review for a foot rasp, no less. That alone should be proof of how magical this thing is. 1000% recommend. (Buy it)

You NEED this foot file.
Super impressed with the quality. It is nice and sharp (be careful! You can easily slice the skin off of your finger. I did that) and soooo effective. I have found this to be such a helpful product that I purchase a new one every year. I get a pedicure q2 weeks on the dot and use this in between my pedicures. Your feel will never be softer!

Absolutely amazing!!
I have had deep dark cracks on my heels for as long as I can remember and this got rid of them right away. I’ve tried so many different things over the years (foot peels, pumice stones, pedicures, and various other files) this is the only product that has proven to be effective. It is super easy to use and surprisingly gentile. I was worried that my heels would be left jagged after use but that was not the case at all. My feet are so smooth and I could not be happier!

Super effective skin rasp
Whew, this thing works great. The backs of my heels are cracked and dry, and look horrible when they get dirty from gardening. This thing makes very short work of smoothing my feet and making them baby soft and clean again. I always use this after having soaked my feet. I tried it on dry feet and it’s uncomfortable and does not work well. I also think you’d run the risk of harming yourself if you use this on dry feet. It is extremely sharp. Take care when using. Go lightly at first. I bought one to keep in the bathroom for after showers. I bought a second one to keep with my foot bath supplies so I wouldn’t have to go looking for the first one. I plan to buy a third one to keep at our summer home. Other reviewers have warned that this is extremely sharp and I agree. But used with care it’s great. It is the most effective foot rasp I have ever used. I’m thinking it might do a better job grating cheese than my cheese graters do! Also the handle is plastic but is strong. Does not feel like it will break.

Works well, but use cautiously
This is my second purchase. After several years of use, my first rasp was getting dull. My callouses are very hard and quite thick, and no amount of foot cream or lotion will reduce the problem at all. I have tried other kinds of foot rasps, and this is the only one that is able to tackle these really hard and thick callouses. However, you have to be very cautious using this foot rasp. You can easily shred your skin and draw blood. RECOMMENDATION: First, soak your feet in warm water for 10-15 minutes. The callouses soak up water and become pliable and soft. You will be surprised at how easily the rasp will remove the dead skin after soaking in warm water. This also makes it easier to remove the dead skin without harming the good skin. If your callouses are thick, do not even try to scrap them while they are dry and hard. It is best to go slow, removing a little bit at the time, using two-three sessions instead of trying to get it all at once. You can definitely cause bleeding by trying too hard at first. If this is your first time using, it is hard to tell when you take too much skin and cause bleeding. This rasp is definitely only for hard, thick callouses.

Great callus remover
I got a callus on the side of one of my feet from shoes that were wearing out. Got new shoes, but still had the callus that bothered me sometimes. I’ve tried powered and unpowered callus removers before with little effect. With this I was done in less than 3 minutes and was searching for anything else to get rid of. Put hand lotion on as it says to and a day or so later the new top layer of skin was adjusted to being the top layer. No more discomfort from the callus that was no longer there.

Best thing ever for heels!
You need this cheese grater in your foot life if you like to go barefoot and wear sandals like I do.It’s very sharp so I wouldn’t use it on dry skin or you might go too deep.I use it in the shower several times a week and it keeps my heels baby soft.The handle can break where it joins the metal part so keep that in mind when applying pressure. Get it!
I already have very dry skin and then pregnancy/breast feeding always gives me extremely dry feet for some reason.. I started doing my nails at home so I have also been missing out on the nail salon filing/foot scrubs and they got so bad, as you can see :’) this is an immediate before and after from only a couple minutes! Wonderful product
I have had a large callus on the ball of my foot for years. I had tried other products that didn’t work. I resorted to cutting it off with a knife. I am now taking blood thinner so no more knife. Life changing
For years I’ve used pumice scrubs, those little egg filers, electric filers, fancy foot lotions but nothing did the trick for my heels that looked like Death Valley. I…kid…you…not…one application in the shower took YEARS of dead skin off after only a few passes. I could not believe my eyes! The under part of the tool had just sludge of accumulated dead skin. I was using a little bit of soap, so it became almost like a sludge of white frothy goop. It was so gross and satisfying. I wish I had came across this years ago. I’ve used other tools like this one, but nothing can compare to this! It is very sharp, so that is why it works so well. Just be careful! I wish I would’ve taken a before and after picture. To tell you the truth, it didn’t even cross my mind because I thought it wouldn’t do anything, just like all the other tools and gadgets I’ve used in the past. Boy I was wrong!!

Best callus remover yet
I hate wearing shoes so I’m barefoot a lot and my feet (mainly big toe) gets horrible calluses that build up. I’m too cheap to get pedicures so my feet are just gross. Life saver!!
I grew up as a barefoot kid. Every time I used to get a pedicure they’d ask if I played soccer?! Buuuuut, now I get to take care of my feet at home! It’s become an extra step during shower. This works Great
This is a must have for me because I my skin dies at an abnormal rate. This item you make sure you do not drop it the handle will break right off. Take a bath, not a shower, nice hot one and pretend your a tea bag. Use this to peel the dead skin off your feet, it will also help with foot hygiene. You only use it in the bath! The water will help with the friction. Use on the footpads near your toes, be more gentle than on your heel because it is more sensitive. Use on the heel on the bottom and back and side of your heel taking the gunmy layer off that is your dead skin. Use carefully on the side of your foot because it is another sensitive area. Do NOT press hard, or go too fast if you do not heed my warning and use it outside the tub you may end up hurting yourself. If you draw blood you went too far too fast. Use it at every bath. You don’t want to use this in the shower standing up, you might end up falling down. This is probably the third one of these I have bought, snapped the handle off one and it still worked. Great product!!!!

Chronic painful heels gone in 2 weeks
I purchased this in 22 and forgot about it until a clean out. I’ve struggled w painfully deep callouses on my heels which occasionally bleed they’re so bad. Combo of always barefoot, RA/circulation issues. I’ve owned files in the past and have really messed myself up going too deep.One or two uses of this without anything stronger than soap (no callous chemicals used) and my feel look normal. I didn’t take before photos but assume the worst you’ve ever seen. Not even one month in and you’d never know I had the issue. I use it in the bath twice a week.

THE HOLY GRAIL FOR AT HOME PEDICURES
I am completely shocked. I just recieved this product less than 30 minutes ago and as you can tell I’ve already used and washed it. I am absolutely blown away by this foot scraper. I have struggled with excessively dry, cracked feet for as long as I can remember. As a woman, who lives in Florida and lives in sandals, my feet have always been my biggest insecurity. But I can’t always budget or make time for a salon pedicure. This product eliminates my need to get one every 2 weeks like someone with my feet should. I could cry I’m so grateful for how well this efficient and affordable product worked. Don’t walk, RUN to buy it. Be careful when using though: you’ll want to scrape off every bit of dead skin but be sure not to take off too much as to cause tenderness.
