6″ x 9″ they are NOT this size
Yes, I am unhappy with these envelopes. I struggle to get my materials in them! Other company envelopes I’ve had in the past this was not an issue with these same use. When measured, they are tightly/exactly 9″ long BUT as much as 1/32″ under 6″ wide. This makes a difference that I am not happy with as I fight to get the pieces into it.Also, I don’t like that the glue on the self seal flap is well over 1/4″ from the edge of the flap, so that it doesn’t securely close, leaving an edge that catches.

Jammed in printer
The bottom, sealed, end of these envelopes was not completely stuck closed. Also the paper was poorly trimmed. This resulted in a small ragged bit of paper sticking out which kept jamming in the printer. Both manual feed and in the paper tray.

They serve a purpose.
I ordered these because I am sorting through old pictures prior to putting them in albums. They meet my needs quite well as I am not putting any stress on them. They are pretty flimsy and would not use them for mailing other than a few pages of paper. Not the quality of the manilla envelopes you get from Mead.
