Sturdy and doesn’t sink while sitting
Easy to install and holds my weigh (average adult weight 5’7″ female) without slowly sinking down while sitting. it doesn’t wobble and feels sturdy. I purchased the bigger one but it still fits for my office desk when its low/all the way down but when I raise it all the way up it raises to a comfortable height to sit at a higher drafting/drawing table.

Perfect replacement
I have a nice “Captain America” chair. The hydraulic pole began to slip. I found this and used a YouTube video to learn how to do it. It’s super simple. I got my hammer to knock out the old pole and then just pulled out the pole. The new pole slides in easily. You sit on the chair it is set in place.I waited 2 months after ordering to make sure it continued to work. I have found zero slippage. It continues to hold strong and am very happy with the purchase. It’s a great way to save a quality chair.

Fits the Staples Hyken. Can’t complain!
Little taller than the original cylinder but it works great and fits just like the original. With this replacement the Hyken can last another few years. Easily worth the price.

Counting the days…
Looks good and sturdy, and was installed easily on my Bossin gaming chair, which was rated at 450lbs, yet failed in a few months. Let’s see how long this one lasts. Loading it with considerably less than 1/3 the rated capacity of 1000 lbs. 4/17/24 – I’ll check back in a month or two, but for now, works well.

It takes some patient physical effort to remove the old piston from a desk chair, but It was totally worth it, once the new one was installed. Would have had to throw the whole chair away without this.

Exactly what I needed!
This fits my Herman Miller Aeron Remastered. I needed to increase the height of my chair because my standing desk could only go so low. The Highest setting of the Aerson still leaves a weird angle for my arm. I was feeling the pain because I spend all day working on my computer.This did the trick! Fits perfectly. I do recommend getting a footrest.TIP: use a pipe wrench! By no means I’m a big guy. 5’5 140lbs and it took me less than 10 minutes to replace the cylinder.
