Came in broken, continued breaking during use.
The chair was already leaning to one side after I assembled it for the first time. The day after, I noticed that the chair would sink when I sat in it and rise when I stood. After a couple weeks, the wheels started catching and ball bearings fell out of it whenever I would move. I don’t even want to know how it’s going to break next. I would recommend not buying this chair and spending the money elsewhere.UPDATE: Customer service did reach out to me and worked with me to resolve my issues. They were very professional and generous, which I appreciated. I raised my rating for their helpfulness alone.

while big and wide seat….
while big and wide seat is nice this chair has just seemed off since i got it, it seems like it only reclines part way and it feels like it is leaning forward in normal sitting position and one of the wheels fell off the mini ball bearings fell out of the swivel part of the wheel and left the wheel unstable only to fall off. while the actual seat of this chair is big and wide (not so comfy) the mount seems off and cant recline all the way back like in old chairs, the wheel thing suck but i can replace a wheel could have been much higher quality for what i paid for the chair.

I have had several chairs, and this one is the best by far. I am 6’4 and weigh around 280-290lbs and all the other office chairs I have purchased have been good but not this good. The last one I purchased was a nice chair but not this nice and for the price!! I should purchase more for the office. in short this is an amzing chair the back rest with the lumbar support that you can make any size is a bonus. Love love LOVE this chair. so glad about this purchase!!

Assembly was simple since the directions were easy to understand and the tools that were supplied were provided. It is essential for someone of my stature to have a chair that has a very robust feel to it. It is comforting to know that the chair can handle up to 500 pounds of weight, and I was certain that it would be able to provide the required support. I utilize this device on a regular basis for my work-from-home arrangement, and I believe that its ergonomic qualities stand out from my experience. The dynamic lumbar support that may be adjusted is a game-changer. I suffer from lower back discomfort, and the fact that the lumbar support may be adjusted to meet my specific requirements has made a considerable difference in the level of comfort I experience throughout extended periods of work. My whole back and neck get good support from the high backrest, which helps to reduce tension and promotes better posture.

My Husband LOVES my chair.
My old home office chair literally let me down. So I went looking for one that might last a longer time and found this one. It had lumbar support and padded seating with leather coverings and I was sold. Yes I knew it was for a person with some girth to them but that was the selling point. I figured if my old chair was rated for my weight perhaps one rated larger would last longer. So I bought the Indulgear Big and Tall Office Chair,500lbs Capacity when I saw it because the cost was outstanding!It arrived on time and was very well packaged with padding(I was impressed).This chair was so easy to put together that I only had to help my husband a little. (Hold this part while I attach that part) So two people can put it together in about 15 min. I guess a little longer for one.Once complete I sat in it…why was the seat so big? Why were my feet not touching the the floor?”Dah, didn’t you read the product name? Big AND TALL my husband laughed. It will fit me perfectly 6Ft. 3In. 340 Lbs. Jump down and let me try it out. “I did and he loved the feel, it was so comfortable to him you could tell he was delighted with my poor moment in shopping.I kissed his cheek and said here’s to your early birthday present, and now I will let you shop for my chair.

Instructions could have been larger print, had to take pictures with my cell camera and then enlarge screen size to see. Maybe a touch more detail as well. But once figured out, assembly wasn’t bad and chair seems very solid and comfortable.

back in not adjustable
According to image 5, the back is adjustable, it is not. There is just a lock and unlock, but you cannot recline and lock it into place. Deceiving image tbh. The seat feels good, just wish it adjusted. The arms aren’t adjustable either but I knew that going in.–edit: I am changing my review from 2 to 4 stars as the company resolved this quickly. If the back had reclined I would have kept it.

Wheel brackets are not sturdy
So far, I’m giving 3 stars. Chair is comfortable, somewhat easy to assemble although I had some issues with screw holes not cut through inner fabric. Reason for 3 stars, after a week of use, the brackets holding the wheels have started to bend. I’m guessing this is likely due to my office having carpet, but they should still withstand rolling and turning, even on carpet. I do like the rollerblade style wheels, as they are supposed to be better, but so far, it looks like I might be looking for replacement wheels soon, as it’s cheaper than renovating my office.

ONLY 2 ISSUES THE SEAT CUSHION NEEDS TO ME LITTLE WIDER BETWEEN THE HAND RESTS AND SECONDLY THE CENTER SHOCK THAT RAISES AND LOWERS AFTER 2WKS OF USE IS ALREADY LETTIN OUT PRESSURE ON ITS OWN CAUSING CHAIR TO GO DOWN AS I SIT IN IT. CHAIR IS RATED FOR UPTO 500LBS PERSON. IM 7’2 418LBS.an update to this review. the bearings in the caster wheels come out after 2 months of use. now i have to get a carpet cleaner to come clean all the grease spots left by the bearing

So disappointed
I bought this for my partner specifically because he likes an oversized chair. He is far below the weight limit and isn’t unnecessarily hard on his stuff (his previous chair lasted a decade, for reference). The chair immediately started falling apart; the sewing that holds the leather panels of the seat together came apart in the first week, exposing the stuffing. The right arm busted and almost dumped him on the floor a couple weeks later. The mechanism for the adjustable height crapped out soon after, leaving the chair at its lowest height setting. His elbows left pretty much immediate dents in the arm padding. And then this week one of the wheels snapped completely off, leaving the chair unsafe to sit in at all. We had to replace the chair which I bought less than three months ago. Easily the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon. Under no circumstances should you spend money on this time.

It’s a big one.
This is my first Amazon review but I felt compelled to write one. Make no mistake, this chair is BIG. I’m 300 pounds and 5’10 and it’s borderline too big. I just put it together so I haven’t had the breaking in period but i considered returning it because it’s so big. In order to reach the back of the chair, I have to do a little scoot to get there. My feet barely touch the ground when it’s any higher than the base height so I can’t really lean back in it. My head does hit at the headrest area like it should. Most chairs my head is way over the headrest.If you’re wide, taller than 6ft, heavier than 300 lbs, or just want to feel small- this is your chair.Instructions are a bit lacking but it’s easy enough to figure out. Took about 15 minutes to put together. Wish I had grabbed my drill though cause my wrist was tired by then end from tightening the screws.

Bad Chair, Poor Customer Service – They took care of the issue
My poor experience began when I received the chair in a less-than-ideal condition. The shipping box showed signs of damage, and upon assembly, it became evident that the chair itself was flawed. One of the wheels was tilted, causing instability due to a bent frame with noticeable scratches and dents. It’s disheartening to report that the customer service provided by the company has been equally unsatisfactory as the product. Despite reaching out three times through email regarding the issue above with the product, not a single response has been received.In each attempt to seek resolution, I provided detailed explanations and attached images illustrating the problem. Despite my efforts to communicate and my desire to resolve it amicably, there has been no acknowledgment or response from the company.The lack of communication and disregard for customer concerns reflect poorly on Indulgear’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. It’s disappointing to invest in a product only to encounter such issues and then be met with silence when seeking assistance.Regrettably, I cannot recommend the Indulgear Big and Tall Office Chair based on the company’s inadequate customer service. Potential buyers beware; this experience has left me disillusioned and dissatisfied.EDIT—-About 4 days after posting this review I was contacted on Amazon and via email by the seller for the lack of contact. Apparently, there was a personnel issue, and my email inquiry was not forwarded on to the appropriate person. They were quick to address the issue, provide me with a refund and replace the chair.

Luxuriously Padded Chair
The thick padding on this chair makes it so comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.The adjustable height is excellent, as is the lumbar support. It rolls well on carpet. I got it this summer and school starts in a couple weeks, so we’ll see how it holds up, but so far it’s a 5-Star piece of furniture and worth the price.

This thing is HUGE !!!
I didn’t really pay much attention to the dimensions, but after assembly I realized how big this chair is.If you have short legs like I do, pay attention to sizing, as I can barely touch the floor with it adjusted all the way down.

Holes dont line up (*EDIT )(**EDIT**)
nothing I can do about the holes lining up on the back of the chair . had three other in the fam try it . chairs is not worth it…Within 6 hours i had a confirmation email that another chair is on the way . I can tell you the chair i do have is Quality. I cant wait for the new one to arrive.!**(the next day I had a fed ex tracking number for the new chair ) **

Metal base cracked in less than 2 months, company contacted me and sent another chair
Ordered on March 9th, in less than 2 months the base that attaches to the chair cracked at an apparent weak point (see the picture). So now the chair is wobbly and leans to the side. I would definitely look at another chair rather than this one. I am not close to the 500lbs that this chair says it can handle, but apparently that just doesn’t hold true. The wheels are fantastic on the bottom, but if the chair is cracked that doesn’t really matter.Updated: After leaving this review, the company reached out to me with two options to either refund the price or to send me another chair. I am willing to give it another try as I do love the base and wheels on the chair. Putting it together was easy as well. So now I am sitting in a new chair updating this review.

5 for comfort, 3 for asssembly
Once together, the seat feels fine & does what it’s supposed to. Putting the chair together is sort of a 1.5 person job for the chair back. Attaching the final part, the lumbar support control was a pain. The holes are almost on the corner of the side, and there is very little give with the attached cable, making it a delightful pain to do while laying down with a flashlight. All for a knob that you might use once or twice to find your zen spot, then never touch again.

A solid office chair.
This chair seems well built. The base is heavy duty steel. It is easy to assemble. The seat cushion is very firm but seems to be getting a little softer with use. The back, however, is not very tall. My sitting height is not much above average and the headrest part is at my shoulder blades.

Great chair! Easy to assemble, and comfortable. Really like the lumbar support adjustment. We did have an issue with one part (came damaged) – but the seller was VERY responsive – Answered my email within an hour, and I had a new part sent to me the very next day. Excellent service! Would def buy from again. A++

Amazing chair
This chair is amazing, the comfort and support has been really great. There is really only one downfall. If you have short legs, you might want to get small stepping block, your feet will have issues touching the floor. My boyfriend is 5’10 and has no issues with the chair. I on the other hand am 5’4 and I can only touch with my toes. Good thing is I have an elliptical under my desk so it works out great. Other than that the chair so far is amazing. We have had them almost a week and no complaints so far.

Great chair
It’s a great chair, easy to put together. Came sooner than it said it would, and the costumer service reps are quick to get back to you.Biggest issue is I ended up with a semi defective wheel, they are sending me a replacement and I couldn’t be happier.

Not too bad, needs better cushion
Not a bad chair, just needs better cushioning. I’ve had it for a while now and my only gripe is the butt cushion wore out very quickly. I had to buy an additional cushion after about 4 months of Monday-Friday use.

It really is big and tall
The media could not be loaded.
This Big and Tall Office Chair provides excellent comfort and support for larger individuals. I was struggling to move it inside after assembly lol. The sturdy construction and ample padding ensure a comfortable seating experience, even during long work hours. The adjustable features allow for personalized comfort, there are 3 knobs you can adjust, and a dedicated one for lumbar support. I especially like that there are cable management included for the adjusting knobs.Super easy to assemble, basically a plug and play chair that requires minimal instruction, simply screw the bolts, drop in the chair to the base and you are done. The base is made of metal and feels strong and steady. The casters are smooth and push in easily without installation. Overall, a solid choice for those in need of a durable and comfortable office chair.

Great product and awesome customer service
I ordered my chair March 8, 2024 and today is June 3, 2024. I noticed today that the bearings are coming out of the wheels. I contacted Amazon customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. I have sent feedback to the seller but highly doubt I will hear back. I love the chair, just need to have the wheels replaced. update 6/15/24 – received new set of wheels from seller. Product is great and the sellers customer service is wonderful.
