Installing Home Assistant OS on the Smart Hub is the preferred way to run Home Assistant. It allows you to keep HA easily up-to-date, add different add-ons, like node-red, straight from the HA interface.
If you are not really technical and want to use Jianshu Smart Hub only for HA, then we recommend installing the Home Assistant Operating System Or Smart Life App. This way you can fully manage your installation through the Home Assistant interface.
