LMNT was born from a need. The hard truth is that available electrolyte products are high in sugar and woefully lacking in actual electrolytes. Based on the latest nutritional science, getting adequate electrolytes through these products equates to over 100 grams of added sugar per day. We don’t think anyone needs this amount of sugar. LMNT is formulated with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

There is a robust body of scientific literature that shows we have underestimated our electrolyte needs for decades, especially if you live an active, low-carb, or ketogenic lifestyle. Yet, popular electrolyte drinks on the market today still have low amounts of electrolytes and include a ton of sugar.
LMNT gives you more electrolytes in the perfect ratio.
Key Ingredients: Salt (Sodium Chloride), Citric Acid, Magnesium Malate, Potassium Chloride, Natural Flavors, Stevia Leaf Extract

What we DON’T consume is just as important as what we DO consume. The research is clear – sugar, gluten, dodgy ingredients, and other irritants found in popular electrolyte drinks come at the expense of our health.
Approximately 7-10% of the world’s population suffers from sodium sensitivity. For those individuals, or those with fluid retention issues on the whole, additional sodium is generally not recommended, and our product is therefore not likely to be a good fit. However, approximately 90-93% of the world’s population experiences no rise or only a modest, temporary increase in blood pressure. Those that try it tend to report the effects of higher-sodium electrolyte supplementation as “very positive,” overall. If you have any medical conditions which necessitate the consumption of a low-sodium diet, using a high-dose electrolyte supplement is not recommended. If you experience adverse symptoms or effects such as nausea, bloating, stomach pains, diarrhea or vomiting when trying LMNT, cease use of the product. Note the quantity of water you use to dilute LMNT, the timeframe for drinking it (e.g. sipping it over the course of an hour vs. chugging it in a few mins), and any other new activities or dietary tinkering might have an impact on your experience of LMNT.

LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes - Sample Pack | Drink Mix | 8-Count Health & Household
Wise Mom –

These are the best electrolytes!
These are the best zero sugar electrolytes packets I have found so far. I have been on the carnivore diet for about a month now and in the beginning I was truly struggling with not feeling well and these electrolytes truly helped me not give up. They gave me energy that desperately needed and helped to suppress my appetite so I could fast longer in-between meals. I would recommend these to anyone and have to several fellow carnivore beginners. GAME CHANGER!

Great for your health year-round; keep several in your Go Bag and emergency kits
We keep these in our beverage station because we use them daily. We stock several packs of single flavors and offer the variety pack to guests. Watermelon and raspberry are especially refreshing in the summer. I sometimes use just a half packet per tumbler in summer because I go through several throughout the day to stay hydrated, especially when hitting the gym or when I’m outdoors in the heat for prolonged periods, so I prefer mine diluted. If I’m drinking just 1-2 tumblers per day, I use a full packet each time.In winter, the chocolate flavor is good as-is (use hot water for this flavor) or add to coffee for a richer taste that warms you up. Great to keep in your hiking kit, go bags, and emergency kits with bottles of water for instances where you need immediate hydration. If you’re sensitive to citric acid, the flavors that don’t have it are the raw unflavored, chocolate and chocolate caramel. Watermelon and mango chili have malic acid instead of citric acid and some contain stevia leaf so read the ingredients for each flavor for full disclosure.LMNT also provides a DIY recipe list for those who want to make all the flavors without the citric acid. That is GREAT customer service!

Incredible sports drink
It’s incredbly salty, not so great for drinking around the house but amazing for when you’re out on a run and sweating like crazy. Not much you can do about the taste, but it’s good enough for the benefits you get from it.

Pretty awesome
So I’ve been doing a lot of Intermittent fasting. I started with 16/8, alternate day feeding, and have basically landed on extended fasts of 3-5 days at a pop. I have a lot of weight to lose. I was a bit worried I was not getting enough electrolytes because of all the water I was drinking and some studies and info out there indicate that electrolytes are good to replace while on extended fasts. I found LMNT and read probably every article on their website. The product is a bit expensive for my taste but… the variety pack is pretty reasonably priced. They are definitely salty. 24oz is imho the least amount of water for mixing with a single pack of salts. I have cycling water bottles that hold 24oz. So I would mix it up, hork down a few big swallows and then refill to the top. 32oz is a really good idea for most people. I try to exercise while fasting and this stuff seems to have helped my “calm” that’s about the only way I can describe it. I would have 1 a day after I was at least 1 day into my fast, and it really did help with my general feeling of well being and clarity of mind.I also have to give LMNT props, they are trying to make a buck, but not at the expense of helping people get what they need. They have a page dedicated to making your own. So you can, and I did, order your own ingredients and make your own LMNT (style formulation) drink packs. I tried my first one the other day and aside from the flavor difference it was very very similar in taste and effect it had on my fast. So kudo’s to LMNT for making an awesome product and also sharing it with folks. The flavors are really something. My favorite being the Mango Chili. I loved that one. The Habanero one was not as good, but still tasty. I can’t bring myself to drink the Watermelon one because I’m just not a fan of Watermelon but I will probably use it next week as I’ve drank all the others lol. The Citrus is quite tasty also. The first thing I remembered thinking after my first packet was this taste like old school Gatorade. A buddy of mine and I did a several hundred mile ride quite a few years ago and we were using old school Gatorade in our hydration bottles and LMNT has the same mouth feel, it’s very drinkable, if you’re an athlete looking for electrolyte replacement this stuff is money. The best part about this little variety pack is it’s cheap, you can try it without breaking the bank. Go check out their website and read some of their articles the science behind it is why I tried it. Very pleased.

Nice variety of flavors
If you’re new to LMNT this is a great option to start with. Truly all the flavors are delicious but there are some I like more if I was given a choice. I really like the orange, citrus, raspberry, and grapefruit. I actually like the chocolate too. Mango chili was ok, I’d drink it but prefer others first. The watermelon was good too but def tasted a bit artificial…exactly like a watermelon holly rancher actually. I wanted to try these after having drank liquid Iv for the last few years and finding it so sweet to the point where one packet would have to be stretched over 64 oz of water or more and sometimes the granules didn’t dissolve well.LMNT tastes perfectly salty and flavorful in abt 20 oz of water for me. And I really like the salty flavor. I will say though don’t drink it too fast, like being extra thirsty and chugging it, I got stomach cramps the one time I did that.

Exceptional taste except….
The chocolate is absolutely disgusting. It’s like the worst fake chocolate flavor I’ve ever had. The others are very refreshing and definitely are good at hydrating. There’s a reason why the big companies haven’t had a chocolate flavor to date… The other flavors are very good!

I like to mix flavors together and these are delicious!
I heard about this product from a blogger that is on a health journey. I have been using LMNT for about 6 weeks and love how much better I feel… truly. All of my life I was the kid that got sick easily and had to sleep 10 hours a night. For years I have felt kind of groggy and not 100%. Two years ago I started eating a daily banana and felt pretty darn good, leading me to believe that I probably had a potassium deficiency. So I decided to see if this product could also help up my energy level. In short, I feel so much better on most days. I like that I can mix my flavors as I have quite a sweet tooth that I know contributes to my lethargy. I mix the citrus with the watermelon in a glass of ice and water and sip on several glasses all day long. I mix it up fairly weak as I probably drink 4 or 5 glasses a day. I kind of experimented with how I felt after a few weeks and this seems to work for me. In between glasses I also drink more plain water. To me this tastes a bit like Crystal Light, but better. I really like the tiniest bit of salty flavor along with a kick of sweet. Not only do I feel better, I also am sleeping less, and have had a dramatic decrease in cravings for sweet and salty foods that are not good for me. I still occasionally eat junk food but I dont think about it all the time.People ask all the time if it tastes salty. Yes, but in a good way. Like if I make homemade vanilla frosting and add a pinch of salt to it, you taste the sweet first but then there is a tiny amount of salt that cuts the sweet flavor. I find it delicious. I no longer drink Coke or LaCroix as my ‘I have to have something’ fix. You get to control the strength of flavor and this pack is a good way to try out which flavor suits you. The watermelon is way too sweet for me but when I mix it with the citrus or the grapefruit it is a drink I love. The powder is super fine and mixes quickly with water. I find it delicious with very cold water and ice. Easy to pack for a week away and cost wise it replaces a lot of my bad habit food and drink. After using this for weeks my brain fog is cut dramatically and I feel very hydrated.

Mango Chili was my favorite!
I liked most of the flavors. Raw and chocolate were the least favorite but if you’re able to take the extra sodium the flavors are great and convenient. I am still not sure yet if my body likes the extra sodium but taste wise this was a good experience and would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised!!
I will update this review as I try more flavors… BUTI am already incredibly impressed with the flavors as someone who has long been loyal to Liquid IV. Liquid IV has such a nasty chemical laden aftertaste. In contrast, LMNT is salty (in such a good way!) and the flavors ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE THEY SAY!!!!! The watermelon is my favorite so far, but I will rank them all once I try them all!

Zero sugar and tastes fantastic!
As an older woman with heat sensitivity, summer is not as enjoyable as it used to be. I’ve tried so many elctrolyte drinks, and was excited to find one with a higher (yes, higher!), salt content. It’s not for everyone (always check with your doc), but it fit my needs and gave me energy and stamina that I thought was gone for good. So thankful for this product

Tasty and effective!
I have several conditions that require me to be really on top of my hydration. I’d heard really good things about LMNT, so I decided to give them a try. They taste great and really seem to help. I would have given this product 5 stars but one of the packets arrived already cut open and empty. It was the raspberry salt flavor, which I was probably most excited to try. The mango chili and watermelon are also very tasty, though.

Love these but…
Love the salty twist to these powders over many of the other electrolytes out there but they are very high priced. Paying for quality is expected but I consider these an investment. Love them, but not sure I will be able to justify using one daily for hydration. To each his/her own budget.

Delicious taste
I was thinking this product would be to salty for me. In fact, the taste is delicious. The chocolate one tasted like a salted brownie but liquid form. I’m a fan. I would recommend.I’d you’re use to “sweet and sugary” you probably won’t like. It’s not super sweet, and that is what I enjoyed most about it. If you’re looking to cut back on your sugar intake but stay hydrated, this is for you!

LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes – Sample Pack
I like the fact that there’s no sugar, but my doctor said I needed higher amount of potassium and magnesium. I liked all the flavors in this variety pack except for the chocolate. After I finished this pack, I found Bodyarmor drink mix that is much higher in electrolytes, no sugar, and costs a lot less (Costco and Sam’s Club). If you don’t need an excessive amount of electrolytes, then LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes is for you.

Pretty sure the Ocean is less salty
It’s a good value for your money if you’re really needing that much sodium in one drink, but good lord almighty. If you’re not used to chugging just straight salt water it’s an experience. Every sip is an assault of my senses of utter sea water with the reward of a vague fruity aftertaste like someone left candy in their swim trunk pocketsThat being said, my morning headache is gone and I feel ready for the day and I’m not even done with the drink.

Not A Fan
LMNT is all the rage in the Keto and Low Carb world. As a past user of several different brands of electrolytes, I have to say that this is perhaps my least favorite. I will not be buying it again. The one big plus is that it does dissolve completely, which a lot of other brands don’t quite do, though a light shake solves that issue. I dislike LMNT for two main reasons: it’s stupidly expensive, and if used as directed (one packet in 16-32 oz. of liquid) it is extremely salty. I used it in 1/2 gallon (64 oz) and found it more or less palatable at that level, though I did not find any of the many flavors appealing…not one. Other brands do a better job with flavors…IMO. Cooking is a huge pleasure to me, and learning to cook Keto/Low Carb/Carnivore has been a lot of fun. So my main observation is that LMNT delivers such a salt whack in beverage form that it curtailed my usage of salt in cooking. Preparing delicious and well seasoned food is more desirable to me than “salt spikes” throughout the day. If a person doesn’t cook very much, then that may be a plus, however, I suspect that sodium is better utilized in the body when consumed as food rather than as a free form supplement. As for the levels of magnesium and potassium included in LMNT…if a person is consuming a balanced Keto-type diet, then these other minerals at these levels should be present in the foods consumed, as both are present in modest levels in LMNT. For my money, Redmond Real Salt is a better option for anyone who sweats a lot and wants a good source of minerals. Magnesium and potassium, if needed, are better supplied with specific supplements…both for the money and usable intake. IMO.

Expensive, SALTY
Overall I like the taste of these products. I would suggest anybody with high blood pressure or other health concerns do some research before using it. It is extremely salty. Like dumping a fast food salt packet right into your mouth. That may not be safe for all consumers. Also, the product is expensive. You can save a few bucks by doing recurring orders, but it is still over a dollar a packet. Unless you are exercising heavily in hot temperatures, and water isn’t cutting it, you probably don’t need this. At this point I think it is more of a fashion statement than anything.

Good Ingredients
I bought a sample pack and love the watermelon & citrus so far the best. This is the best electrolyte drink mix I have found in terms of ingredients, besides straight electrolyte water. I have researched quite a few brands and included a screen shot from Yuka. I am drinking one a day to help me feel hydrated. I mix it with 24 oz. of water.

Salt drink mix
This company has put a lot of their money into advertisements that youtubers push every minute to tell you how great this electrolyte drink mix is. What you wont find is anyone telling you that this is a salt drink mix. This is something that can be found on their website and on the packaging, it’s definitely not false advertisement, however it’s not something that is blatantly explained.

Great sample pack
My ranking:1. Raspberry 2. Grapefruit 3. CitrusThe rest were okay. The plain unflavored needed a lot of lemon juice to be drinkable. I did not have the courage to try the mango chili or the chocolate…I ordered a pack of raspberry salt and am using it for pregnancy. I like if with lots of ice and at least 32 oz water or else it’s too salty. Perfect for my current needs!

Great variety of flavors–watch out for that zippy “Mango Chili,” yikes!
This is a better value than the 12-pack which has only four flavors (rasp, citrus, watermelon & orange). However, some flavors are better than others. I can barely choke down the unflavored by itself. The chocolate is kind of weird and the chili mango gives quite the zippy after taste.I suffer through those to get to the grapefruit. 🙂

I thought it was Great….
Update….I was offered refund from seller, I received refund. Appreciate the seller for standing behind their products.I didn’t mind the tastes, it was salty obviously like many people were saying but it was kind of refreshing side to me. After I finished drinking my very first pack, I thought “Mmm, this is actually pretty good! I like this, I can continue drinking this! ” and felt good. BUT!….the second day….few hours after finished drinking my second pack, I ran to bathroom. I had most explosive loose stool, almost just water, incident. I think my digestive system rejected this drink unfortunately….I liked the tastes but I had to stop drinking.

Great! Salty, but great!
I bought these because I started I.F. about 10 weeks ago. In the summer heat, I’ve just been exhausted! A friend who also intermittent fasts suggested I try these. I bought the variety pack to try the flavors to discover my likes & dislikes.First of all, this “cured” me of my 2+ hour naps needed almost every afternoon! My friend was right…all I needed was more electrolytes.I like all of the flavors. I usually drink them about half pack in 30 oz of water. I also like putting them in unsweetened black tea.The chocolate I used about 1/3 of a pack in 30 oz of ice coffee. When I used the orange half strength it reminded me of what Gatorade used to taste like when I was a kid.I haven’t used the Unflavored yet, but I assume you could add this in to a flavored beverage to make it taste better than just salt water.I highly recommend this brand for anyone that needs to replace electrolytes. Also, just a note, this uses Magnesium malate which is a better form of Mg than most brands use.All in all, a great product, and the variety pack is great if you are new to LMNT, as I was.
