The default combination code is 000. You have to scroll the dials to the correct combination to reset.
Combination Set Up Instruction
1.Scroll the dials to the correct combination before set up.
2.Switch the Combination Reset Lever from A to B on the backside of the lock.
3.Scroll the dials to set a new combination. We suggest that you write down the new combination code immediately and keep in a safe place.
4.Switch the Combination Reset Lever back to A.
5.Twist the knob to check if it’s movable, if yes, confifirm the combination code.
6.If yes, you have successfully set up your own combination.

Quick to setup, easy to program a code or change the code. It’s decent sized to put inside a cabinet so your roommates don’t take what’s not theirs. Like my food to take my medicine. Nice little lockbox
This little lock box was really simple to put together and it definitely does the job. My son was able to build it entirely by himself. The box is simple but sturdy. I’m not a huge fan of the clear (only option with vine) but I do like that he can create some art and stick it on the sides to give him some privacy along with the safe. 10/10 . I definitely recommend this safe. Affordable. Simple and safe.

Great product
I take a lot of meds and supplements and some of them aren’t in child proof bottles. Now that my grandsons are able to walk around our house alone, I worry about that. They all know not to touch anything like that, but I really want to take that chance? This box is awesome. It went together so easily and setting the combination was simple. I was concerned what would happen if I couldn’t get the combination to work and all my meds were lock up but I’m pretty sure I could take an craft knife and get into it if I had to. I’m going to get another one for my husband’s meds.

Very easy to break apart.
This is super easy to break apart, so I don’t think security wise. It really serves a purpose. It’s more for show. You could just take the lid off and it would be opened. It was also difficult to get the door into the slot. It’s easy to change the combination though. You just slide the switch while you do it. I like that you can see through it. I don’t intend to put anything in here that I actually need locked up.

Combination lock box with round handle
The media could not be loaded.
This clear hard plastic lock box is very nice. The plastic is hard and not flimsy and it all snaps together on every side to make a box and you will hear each piece snap. The lock and the handle are so easy to open you would think it had been greased but it hasn’t. I have no worries about it caving in on top and the combination is easy to set. I trust it 🙂 This particular one is a good sturdy lock box and it is gift giving ready for someone to easily put together.

Great way to keep kids out of meds
I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this Med lock box!! I honestly thought, due to the low price, that it would be junk. I’m pleasantly surprised! This clear box comes in 6 pieces but l, it is extremely easy to put together. Each piece is marked with a letter that corresponds with the directions. All the pieces click in to one another and it is pretty sturdy. This obviously won’t keep an adult out as they can rip it apart but it will definitely deflect a child’s tiny hands from reaching dangerous meds. You can set the combo lock to whatever 3 digit combination you’d like. The lock opens and closes smoothly and doesn’t get stuck on anything. Truthfully, my only complaint was that one of the sides has some scratch marks in it that are very noticeable to the eye. I tried to show them in one of the photos. I definitely recommend this lock box for any household with kids to keep them safe. You cab actually use this box for anything you would like to keep out of reach.

Sturdier than it looks
The plastic material feels the most cheapest and I thought I was going to be able to break it apart after assembly. Each side just snaps into place and when I had forgotten my code, I tried and tried so hard to pop it off of each other but it wouldn’t budge. Great quality and good price.

This is not a good option for truly keeping children out of medication. If you drop it, it will break apart and they’ll be able to get in. It’s plastic. It’s only held together with plastic snaps and is not durable at all. The only thing I enjoyed was the simplicity of setting up the combination lock used.

I love that you can see what’s inside, it makes it perfect for a time out box (when kids fight over a toy in the toy gets taken away it can go in the timeout box). Good helper for keeping track of things!
Let me start: this is NOT the equivalent of a safe. This isn’t fireproof and you can bust it open with a hammer, should you be that motivated.That said, for the needs in my family (locking away meds we aren’t needing right now or additional prescription supplies that should be kept track of), this is just what I needed. It’s totally clear on the sides, so I can see what’s inside and know if something is missing at a glance. The lock gives someone pause and keeps things away from the mildly or generally curious. And it provides a place for me to put things I don’t want my teen daughters to have in easy grasp (mostly their own meds that they are not needing at the moment).It was really easy to put together, with different sized slots to ensure you put things in the right place. I did it in just a few minutes and changing the lock combination to one of my choosing was just as easy.If you don’t need a total hardcore safe for medications (such as is needed for an addiction in the household), this is a great option. It’s better than taking up one of my dresser drawers and that it’s clear will help make sure I won’t forget what I put inside. A worthwhile purchase at this price.

This is a bit of a pain to set up
for a box that is about $30 (at time of review) I think I would rather suggest a pad lock on a box. Putting it together was a bit of a pain as the parts didn’t want to fit together and with how easy the lock is to reset I fear if someone got into it (like a kid) they could easily reset it and lock you out of it. Witch to be fair wouldn’t be an issue as you can just pop the whole box apart. I fear that one drop on the ground will break it open. if this wasn’t advertised for medical storage I would give it 2, MAYBE 3 stars for being a box that can lock. But seeing as it can be opened quite easily without knowing the code, I can’t recommend it.

This lockbox is made of a clear plastic. it is easy to assemble & pieces lock into place easily. Be careful of the pieces. On my box, I had a small piece of plastic that was broken off. It didn’t stop the box from being assembled, but I don’t know if it will alter the box in any other way/make it easier to disassemble.The box comes with full instructions on how to assemble and how to set the lock code.Overall, I like the style and the size of this box and it is great for putting things away that you don’t want people to get into easily. Will work great for households with young children.

For mild concerns
I ordered this as a foster parent who has to keep prescription medication in a lock box. This is a great box for that, but only in the event that you don’t have kids in the home who are older and wanting to get to the medication. In other words, it’s toddler proof but it offers no security from an older child, teenager, or relative who may really want to get their hands on the medication. I personally only need this to be toddler proof, so it serves that purpose.It requires assembly, but the instructions come in the box and are easy to follow. Assembly is essentially just snapping all the plastic pieces together. Setting the lock code is also spelled out in the instructions and is easy to do.

Not impressed with the structure or level of safety
Just received this this afternoon. First surprise; it comes unassembled. Wasn’t expecting that.Assembly instructions are basic and has the steps to change the lock combination. Took about 10 minutes to assembled which included having to identify the parts and change the combination. Make sure the upper peg of the door is inserted correctly as it is a slight pain to re-insert in case you missed the hole (and yes, I know this from experience).BE AWARE: This is cheap plastic. If all you are looking for is to keep medicines away from your toddler, then it’s fine. However, if you’re looking at this as a deterrent for your pre-teen or teenager, it won’t take much of an effort to get into it. Based on the price, I was expecting something more substantial. This isn’t it.

As expected. Handy little box but not incredibly secure
Parts arrived in good condition and I had no issues assembling, I had it together in about a minute or two.As far as security goes, this would be good for keeping things from young children, but I know past about the age of 10, if left unattended, I would have gotten into this box if I really wanted to, not to mention that the box is transparent, so you can SEE what is in it. Still useful for sure, just don’t overestimate its capabilities or the sturdiness of plastic.I’m currently using this to store bulk spices in a small storage shed. The side door allows things to be stacked on top of it without losing access to the contents, which is great for my purpose. I haven’t set a combination as I haven’t really needed it, but the latch gives some extra security if the box has to be shifted around a lot. I have other storage boxes with side access doors that can pop open if you’re not careful.

Well this storage box does lock as described, but I would not consider it secure due to the poor quality of the box construction itself. Instead of being made as one complete unit/box/bin, it arrives in 6 pieces that you put together with a tongue and groove type construction at each seam. It would be incredibly easy to break this bin in a number of ways, and access everything inside.However this is good if all you are looking for is a first step deterrent/reminder not to touch something, and not a secure way to store items. But I would not trust this box to hold up against even a short fall off a counter, much less a person or animal really trying to break into it and access the inner contents.

Junk don’t waste your money
This box is a joke. It’s very flimsy and all you have to do is tap it lightly and the box collapses. I don’t know why they bother putting a lock on it being all you do is tap it and it falls apart. I bought this to lock medicine away to keep it out of the reach of my young grandchildren. Definitely won’t be using it for that and too much of a hassle to return so I’m stuck with a bunch of plastic pieces.

Pretty decent
I bought this because my sister borrows my makeup and skincare without permission all the time. I figured I would put it together as practice before using super glue, but tearing it apart was pretty difficult. I ultimately broke the little hinge thingy on the top of the door, but it’s still usable after getting some super glue in there. I recommend you watch a video first or something because you only really get one chance to assemble it. It does feel pretty sturdy though in general, so not too bad

Not secure and broken lock
The lock was broken when I received this product. To be fair though, I bought it used from Amazon warehouse. Though even if the lock hadn’t been broken I would have returned it. Box easily comes apart and could be broken into with very little to no effort. Would not recommend if you are really trying to keep something secure.
