   Wish they were wider!

   After a few uses, these seem to work well. I especially love that they are cruelty free and that I can use them without feeling like I am hurting my teeth or gum health! However, are there any plans to make these wider? The top strip is really not wide enough to go around all the teeth I would like it to cover. The bottom strip is even less so, to the point that I cannot use it alone and have to use two of them side by side to feel like I am covering all the teeth that might possibly show when I smile or laugh. Hope these end up being made wider, or at least that a wider option is offered as available, as it will be tough to use these long-term with this challenge – and I would really like to use them long-term!

   Day 1

   3:13 June 5 , 2024 I applied the initial application . I brushed with sensodine tooth paste & dried my teeth prior to the application . After fighting & getting the top film off the backing I easily applied it however the bottom film is a little trickier to apply correctly . I jumped into the shower whe while washing my face I could feel both films sliding on my teeth while salivating more than normal . The top stayed close to the applied site but the bottom wrapped around the back of the bottom teeth . Plus I’m thinking the front of the bottom teeth are uncovered . Almost 30 minutes in & I can feel a peroxide like unwanted sensation in a couple of my 71 year old back teeth . 32 minutes later the top film was pretty much where I put it however the bottom film was indeed covering the back of the bottom teeth . The remaining residue which some discribed as snot & the taste wasn’t all that bad . After rinsing I brushed again with Sensodine & baking soda which removed said snot . While it’s the initial /test run I highly doubt any change in color but the teeth that were treated feel extremely clean . I’m doubting this product will have the anticipated results , so that’s why I gave 3 stars . Day 2 results to follow . Day2 , brushed , rinsed with Listerine & dried my teeth before appilying the strips . Left them on for the 30 minute period & this time they stayed where placed due to inactivity . Again I felt sensitivity in my worn down back teeth . Removal of the strips & cleaning of the teeth was not too awfully bad followed by brushing & more Listerine . I’m thinking that I’m seeing a difference that Crest 3D whitening tooth paste didn’t help with . The tooth paste works more on coffee & tobacco stains . Day3 , same as day2 except I used my lower jaw night guard to keep in place the lower strip . A great suggestion by a previous reviewer . Again with the 30 minute procedure & again with what I would say is better results . My teeth do infact look & feel brighter & cleaner . The tissue whiteness test does NOT do any justice so far , but I’m happy with the results . Tomorrow’s another day . Days 4 , 5 & 6 were pretty much the same results except the time of application changed . Enough with all of the step by step info , the results so far after 6 applications are that my teeth have experienced a definite & noticeable change in the shade or color . I wish I had a dental color chart & also had taken pictures of my experience to be able to chart the before & after results . Having been a dental lab tech 53 years ago I can still compare the results & say that my teeth are at least 4 shades whiter . I’m 71 , I don’t drink coffee or wine nor smoke so I don’t have any staining from that . So I’d have to say if the person smokes or drinks any of the mentioned products their results should be much better . I’m raising my review to 4 stars also reordering another box for future applications .

   Gel like remnants when strips are removed

   You want your teeth as dry as possible prior to applying strips. I use a dry wash cloth. And then once I apply one strip, I use the dry wash cloth again for the other arch. You salivate more when something is in your mouth. To alleviate shifting, use a dry cloth after each strip is applied. This will reduce movement for those 30 minutes. Once it’s on and adhered to the teeth, it’s fine. No weird taste. I have very sensitive teeth. I’ve done professional whitening, and had to stop half way through due to pain. I’ve done Crest white strips, those make my teeth sensitive after two applications. I’m on my third application now and had minor discomfort after the second application. Waited a day to do my third. No discomfort from sensitivity. Get an extra toothbrush. You’ll want to use a separate toothbrush from your own to brush/rinse your mouth after removing the strips. It leaves a gel-like substance across your teeth. Very uncomfortable. Extremely sticky. You aren’t supposed to drink/eat for 30 min after removal, but there is no way I can leave that gel in my mouth. It’s gross. That’s the only negativity that bothers me. It’s icky. It is lightening my teeth. I have coffee and wine stains.

   So disappointing!

   I bought these after hearing multiple social media influencers rave about them for months. Finally caved! I subscribed to these strips because it was cheaper. But I was a little lazy lol and didn’t even start trying them out until after I already had FOUR BOXES of them…ok so I was super lazy. I just don’t love the experience of using white strips so I put it off. But after I had 4 boxes I figured I better start using them. I was so certain they’d be great because these influencers rave so much! But there’s so much they don’t tell you.I have only used these, and different types of the Crest white strips in the past, so I only have the Crest to compare them to.First, sensitivity: this is the one area that I would say is purely a pro. These don’t make my teeth cold sensitive at all after use. If your teeth have a really hard time maaaaybe it would be worth all the cons to use these.Whitening: my teeth are getting whiter, 3 boxes in. It’s taking much much longer than the crest white strips took. I always brush my teeth before applying the strips and wear them for 30 min as directed – I use a timer. So I’m using them correctly but the whitening effect is sooooo slow. Not impressed at all. My teeth would get to a nice white after less than 1 box of crest strips. I’ve used 3 boxes of these already and still my teeth are not as white as they should be (and they weren’t horribly stained to begin with).Application: it’s weird I even have to mention this! With the crest strips you just put them on. With these, you dab your teeth super dry, carefully position them, try to put them on, but they flop and slide around, so you have to try to glue them down with pressure but be careful or they’ll slide…it’s annoying. They’re needlessly difficult to get to stick to your teeth. Plus – often during the whitening process the corners will come loose and be annoying sticking out and poking your tongue.The WORST PART: when you take them off. I was expecting a little residue because the strips I’ve used in the past left a little residue. With these basically all the gel stays behind stuck stubbornly on your teeth. Don’t spit in the sink – you will spit out chunks of gel and it feels so disgusting it’s nauseating. The gel thickly coats every tooth and if you have any crooked teeth it will be worse. What I do is use my wet toothbrush (which I don’t like doing since you’re not supposed to get your mouth wet after these strips but nothing else works) to scrub the gel off my teeth. I have to rinse my toothbrush several times because it gets totally gunked up with gel. Then I spit the remaining bits of gel out. It is extremely unpleasant. The first few strips I used, I thought something was wrong with my box but lucky for me I had other boxes, and none of them were old. but just in case, I tried the newest box. No, they’re all like this. All of the strips leave such a thick layer of goo on your teeth I can’t even imagine why the influencers rave over this product.To me, this is something you should use as a last resort lol if you can’t use anything else, ok try this. If you can handle sensitivity or have money for other means of whitening, avoid these!!!! They are so disgusting. I can’t believe people recommend them without even mentioning the mess of goo at the end and the slowwww whitening! These are so not worth the price. I still have some strips to use up, they were too expensive to throw away, but man do I regret buying them. Yuck!

   works if used correctly

   I’ll preface this by saying that I am 51 and drink coffee 1-2 times a day. I’ve been drinking coffee for years. Needless to say, there is some staining. I used the product as I was supposed to, even missing a day here and there, so I think all in all it took about 9 days to finish a week’s worth. I also used the toothpaste with it. I’ve used whitening trays from the dentist, and they recommended that you not brush your teeth prior to use, so I did the same with this product. I experienced no sensitivity when used for the suggested time frame of 30 minutes. After removing the strips I just brush off the goo with my toothbrush and the toothpaste, and then allow it to sit on my teeth for the rest of the night while I sleep. After that 9 days period of time, my teeth were a shade whiter than they had been before. I’ve continued using the toothpaste since and have bought more strips for maintenance, which is not daily. I wouldn’t expect perfect white teeth after using this product for a week, as it is natural. But you will get whiter teeth. I hope that after using this product for a time, that my teeth will gradually become whiter, but not unnaturally so, like you’d get with bleach. I’m fine with that. The only issue I had was one time, the lower strip came apart and started sticking to itself, so I had to throw that one away.

   Sensitive teeth beware, but THEY WORK!

   So I have very sensitive teeth, hurts to eat cold foods etc. I used only 4 of these strips each day and my teeth became noticeably whiter. With the 5th strip I used, I noticed a dull soreness in my teeth but I ignored it cuz girlll they were workin my teeth haven’t been this white in years. Then a few days later I tried to use a 6th strip, and within 10 seconds of applying it, the dull soreness turned into a 7 out of 10 on the pain scale. I still left them on for like a couple minutes but the pain got worse and I couldn’t bear it. I took them off and the pain went away right after I removed them, so that was confirmation to me that it was indeed the whitening strips causing the pain. I sadly won’t be using these again even though they really do work. If you don’t have sensitive teeth, these are definitely effective! But to those with soft sensitive teeth, I’d recommend you look elsewhere

    Just got these in the mail today and couldn’t wait to try them. They are easy to use and come with complete instructions. Leaving the strips on for 30 minutes was easy. No bad taste. Didn’t see a huge difference after 1 application but I’m going to keep at it. I hadn’t ordered the mouthwash but I probably will since they highly recommend it. I believe I receive the toothpaste tomorrow. Apparently it works best when all 3 products are used together. I love that they are safe and natural.

    Bottom is small

    Overall, it’s a good product, and within two applications, I could see a difference in whitening. However, the bottom (teeth) application/plastic, is rather small, and I had a hard time keeping it in place. Upper is just fine. I don’t know that I’d buy again because there are so many products out there, for this same purpose, so might try another brand. Otherwise, it does what it states as far as whitening.

    These are decent.

    I do see a marked improvement in the color of my of my teeth. There was no sensitivity, at all. However, they are not at the level of white I desire. I work with a couple of women that have REALLY WHITE teeth. This is the level of white I want. I did not use the brand they use, due to cost.

    Gentle

    I manage a dental practice so I have used several whitening options. I bought these for my teen grandkids because they are gentile. I tried them and did not have sensitivity at all (which I usually do). They did not whiten as well as the professional options, but I like that they whiten without sensitivity.

    They whiten teeth but sometimes they disintegrate

    I like that these are natural bc they don’t make my teeth super sensitive like other brands. The only complaint is that sometimes I open the little package & they won’t unstick or they seem to not all be there. They must be disintegrating? They do make my teeth whiter though.

    No sensitivity. Noticeable Improvement

    I have really sensitive teeth and these strips didn’t make my teeth hurt at all. They didn’t get my teeth super duper white but they made a noticeable difference. I think that with continued use my teeth would whiten even more. The fact that they don’t cause me pain is why I will definitely buy again. I’d rmuch rather whiten gradually and avoid the ache other strips cause.

    These are my favorite brightening strips by far!!! But I gave it four stars because the lower strip falls off too easily. However I still will purchase these because it has outperformed the Crest professional strips, which were my go to whitening strip for years. The whitening power is extraordinary. I just wish the company would correct the defect on the lower teeth.

    No sensitivity!!

    To be honest I wasn’t sure these strips were working. To the eye alone my teeth still seem yellow for my liking. But then I made a pic collage and I can tell they are whiter. I have been using them very consistently. Every day for the first week. Then every other day. It does leave a funky residue on your teeth which is gross. I just wipe it away and then use their branded mouthwash.

    Very gummy and hard to keep on bottom teeth

    This product is all natural and as advertised, it does not make your teeth sensitive. But the strips are very gummy when you pull them off. You literally have to wipe all the goo off of your teeth. And, the bottom strip is so small its very difficult to put on and you have to clench your teeth to keep. it on. Teeth are already looking whiter. I am just not a fan of the goo and the difficulty to put the strips on and keep them in place.

    Botton strip doesn’t adhere as well a I like but it might be my mouth and tongue. I’d buy them again because they do whiten my teeth. I don’t feel like I have sensitive teeth but needless to say.. no pain!

    Best whitening strips I’ve ever used!

    NO SENSITIVITY after 7 days of use!!! My teeth are at least a shade lighter and very natural looking! I will never use peroxide based whiteners again now that I have Lumineaux as an option.

    Great for sensitive teeth

    These strips work just as well as the most popular brands and are great for sensitive teeth. I can use them for the full 30 minutes without issues. The only things I don’t like is the size of the bottom strip, which is shorter on the side piece and that you need your teeth very dry for the strips to stay in place.

    Bad design, needs improvement.

    I’ve only been using these a few days and it does seem like it might be whitening my teeth, though it’s hard to know at this point. My teeth and gums were a bit sensitive after the first couple of uses, but it wasn’t too bad, so I’m willing to keep using them.However, the strips are not well designed. Especially the strip for the lower teeth, which is difficult to keep in place. It would also be great if there were some kind of visual mark in the very middle of each strip so you could easily line that mark up with the space/line between the two front teeth on the top and bottom. Otherwise, it’s easy to put the strips on a bit to the left or right, meaning more of the teeth on one side are being whitened than on the other.There’s also no way to tear the packages open that hold each set of strips, so I have to use scissors to cut the top off, but there’s no visual guidance to know where it’s safe to cut without catching the strips.I like that the ingredients are natural and not damaging to the teeth or the gut flora, but the delivery system needs improvement.

    White spots gone!!!!

    All right, I know these are whitening strips…BUT, they got rid of some white spots I had on my front teeth! At first, I thought they had given me more, but then they completely disappeared after two days. My teeth are also a little whiter, but the whiteness doesn’t last if you don’t continue to use. That being said, these are absolutely miserable to use. I struggle with the thirty minutes I have to leave them on without opening my mouth. You can’t even really spit with these because the goop is so sticky. However, I still suffer through treatments because of the great results I’ve gotten. Thank you, Lumineux!

    BUY IT!!!

    If you have sensitive teeth and weakened enamel and you’re wanting a whiter smile, then look no further!!! I could tell a big difference in my smile just after ONE use!! No tooth pain afterwards! Regular whitening strips kill my teeth, but these are awesome! I gave a 4 star because the only negative thing to say about them is they leave an extremely thick gunk on your teeth and gums and you have to pick it off and rise out your mouth a few times, but it’s worth it for the price, quality and how well it works!!

    It works!

    Doesn’t really brighten to a blinding white the first time, but you do see a good difference within the next 2-3 sessions. Can’t wait to finish the box to see how bright I can get them. It doesn’t stay stuck on to your teeth like the Crest brands do, but it stays if you don’t talk or anything. It does leave a gooey mess when you take them off, but it comes off when you brush your teeth. I’d say it’s worth it and doesn’t make your teeth feel painfully sensitive like the Crest brand.

    I love these strips! I am super sensitive to a lot of toothpastes, they make my gums swell . I had stopped using whitening strips all together until someone recommended these and I thought I would give them a try. I was surprised my gums didn’t hurt! They had really whitened in one treatment, but I would recommend getting the whitening pen too, because I went in a second time trying to touch up closer to the gum line in some areas with the strips, but I think it would have been easier with a pen. Highly recommend these strips!

    Frustrating Products

    On a positive note, the strips do work. On a negative note, they are more than a bit challenging to apply and keep on. If your mouth has any moisture in it (the surface of your teeth) you will not be able to get these to stick when applied. The top strip is not flexible, so if it sticks and you try to bend it over your teeth.. the strip will move and you are starting all over again. The bottom teeth strip is entirely too small. The flap that should bend over the teeth is so tiny and the plastic so stiff that it is difficult to get it in place. Honestly, for the results you get the frustration isn’t worth it. I’m giving it three stars simply because it does work. But the fact of the rigidity and effort/frustration level makes it lose 2 stars for me.

    The Whitest Teeth!

    These strips are so easy to use and whiten your teeth several shades. There is no teeth sensitivity with them and no peroxide which is a bonus! They are my go to for quick whitening.

    We all Want White Teeth

    It is ok. And just for the record, I am also using the tooth paste. I say ok, but like everyone else, I want them WHITE now. I can see a difference, but funny thing is the color of my clothes has an impact on my teeth. If I wear yellow, my teeth look white, but if I wear white they still have a yellow cast. If I can’t get them white like I want, I just want to retain my teeth forever. Good luck

    Great, without sensitivity!

    I bought these after seeing some people on Instagram recommending them for their great ingredients and whitening capabilities. I have used them for 7 days now and have seen a noticeable difference with the whiteness of my teeth. My teeth were never super yellow to begin with, because I brush my teeth religiously twice a day. However, I do drink coffee without straws and other foods with heavy dyes, so I wanted to be able to refresh my teeth and make them a little whiter. These have done a great job so far and I love the results for the price. I have not had any teeth sensitivity or gum sensitivity yet, but I also make sure not to have the strip go over my gums. I have enjoyed these so much, I bought another pack during Prime day! I will definitely add this to my monthly routine.

    Tastes and Results – Pros and Cons

    I bought this product because it uses more natural additives and I wanted to see how it compared to the name brand whitening strips. I’ve used the name brands strips off and on, with good results and just a little bit of sensitivity. Here are my pros and cons on these whitening strips.Pros:The taste is much better than the others I’ve usedIt has fewer chemicals than the others I’ve used. It looks like only one or two ingredients are synthetic, probably only oneIt doesn’t make my teeth any more sensitive than usualCons:The strips don’t stick as well as the others I’ve tried. They are pretty slippery when you put them on but after a while they don’t move as muchWhile they do whiten, I’m not getting as much results as with the others. I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks and typically see more results by nowThe worst character of this product is the gummy residue left behind when you remove them. It is really, really thick. You can’t just swish water around your mouth to remove it. I’ve found that even a toothbrush doesn’t remove all of it, just most of it. Unless I also use my waterpik first, I feel like there is still a coating on my teeth. When I use my waterpik it leaves residue in the sink that has to be wiped off and can’t just be washed down with water. This is not a product you would want to use on your way to work and expect to go in before you brush your teeth.Overall, I think this product, for me anyway, is one I would use more for touch-ups between using the name brands. The lack of sensitivity is a big plus for me.

    Pretty decent strips

    Tried for a week. Notice small changes with the 7 treatments so I’ll try again with another box and pens/toothpaste. So easy to apply. Didn’t bother my sensitive teeth whatsoever and I love that. Strips stayed in place. Only issue was how sticky it was after removing strips but better than some that I’ve tried.
