“Pink Wink” is IT!
I am all over the board with lipstick. Unlike some other makeup like powder or foundation, I don’t find pricier lipsticks to be better or cheap lipsticks to be worse. I just can’t judge until I try it.And this Maybelline lipstick is IT.I’ve been trying to get away from my extremely nude, “I don’t even have lips” look that I’ve been donning for decades. I want to rock the red lip look but my brain will just not accept it on me so I’ve been dabbling more in darker pinks, but I feel like it’s a constant search for the *right* shade.I ordered four lipsticks from different brands recently and this one is a success. The listing image shown for “pink wink” is definitely not what you get. Instead, what my photo shows is pretty true to the color you get when applied.I line my lips with a browser lip pencil, dab the middle of my lips with a very nice/tan color, then apply this lipstick over it all and it’s really pretty.It’s not drying, and does a pretty good job of staying even though drinks and a meal. It’s lustrous but not “shiny,” and has a really nice sheen to it. (It is not matte. I also didn’t want matte.)Really, at this price range, just give it a try. I bought it here on Amazon for under $6.00. How do you beat that?Now I need one for my purse too!

This is a very nice lipstick. Creamy but still mat. It will not dry your lips. You must like to wear red colors. It is vibrant and very nice. It is in the cherry side. It is not red-orange side what I like very much.

My favorite color forever
Can’t believe I’m still buying the same brand, same color lipstick I’ve used for decades.The consistency/coverage is better than most without being one that “stains” the lips. It’s creamy without feeling slick & has deep color without being too dark.I haven’t seen in the stores for years, but I can still get it here.

This is my go to for my lips. Not orange or brown just a soft nude has pigment which I like some nudes are too transparent. Give a 4 because doesn’t stay on long but I don’t mind reapplying often.

Great color for us fair-skinned users.
I’ve been trying to find this color (on me) for about five years. Most were too red or too…something, since fair-skinned people can be quickly overwhelmed by too much of any color. This is literally PERFECT and I 99% of the time NEVER use that word. I bought 2 in case they suddenly decide to stop making this one – which seems to be happening more and more with products these days.
