For some reason I cannot find “Habitrol Nicotine Gum 2mg Mint BULK 384 pieces” any more. Amazon Basic gum is turd. It is like Walgreens or CVS brand. It is not stored well. The nicotine is inactive. The flavor and texture are junk. Fail.

Little flavor, odd texture
For the past year or so, I’ve been purchasing nicotine gum to help out some friends who are trying hard to stop smoking. Based on what they tell me, the uncoated version is awful – tasteless and with a texture much akin to chewing cardboard. The mint flavor is gone quickly and so they tend to use up a box twice as quickly as the coated kind.

Poor taste and product
Gum was a darker yellow and did not taste good at all. I have bought this previously, but the last batch made my teeth yellow as there may have been too much dye in it. I do not recommend. The same company appears to manufactuer this gum that makes it for the Equate brand. Not sure what happened but I do not recommend. I tried to contact Amazon but they make it very difficult and the chat is with a computer and not a person. It is very infuriating. The chat forces the user into options they do not want.

Made by the same company as decent gum but not the same product
I ordered this because it seemed to be the same product as the Walmart generic because they are both made by the same company but it’s not the same at all. There is no candy crunch coat on this and it has less flavor too. No way I would order this again.

Flavor: wet paper bag
Would avoid this. Prefer the name brand coated ones. The flavor and texture of this gum resembles a wet paper bag. If you’re only using it for the nicotine, it works…. But there are better options
